Efe Ejeba revealed, I have N75k left of N25 million I won at BBNaija

Big Brother Naija 2018 Double Walaha winner, Efe Ejeba has revealed that he has N75,000 left from the 25 million Naira he won from winning the show.

The winner of the 2017 Big Brother Naija television show made the startling revelation that he has only N75,000 left out of the N25 million that he won last year, while he was a guest on a radio show on Hot FM.

When the radio host asked him, how much he had left of his prize money. Efe said; “Yo man, I basically have like 75k in my account. It used to be 100k, but yesterday night, we went to the least expensive bar to chill with the 25k.”His response elicited laughter from the radio hosts.

Former big brother naija winner Efe has come under fire from a section of fans after shared a post on social media that comparing internet fraudsters to politicians.

In his viral tweet, Efe justified the activitiesof internet fraudsters (yahoo yahoo boys) in Nigeria and compared them to Nigerian politicians, revealing that they actually bring money into the economy as opposed to the Politicians who steal money and take it out of the Nigerian economy.

Apparently, It all started after the EFCC raided Club 57 in Lagos, where over 12 suspected internet fraudsters were arrested by the EFCC.

Big Brother Naija 2018 second runner up, Tobi Bakare, has claimed that Nigerians voted 2017 winner of the reality television show, Efe Ejeba, out of pity.

Tobi said this in an interview with the Punch, adding that he was so happy when he made it to the final three of the Double Wahala edition.

According to him, “Personally, I think that in the last Big Brother that held, people voted for the winner out of pity not because they really saw value or potential in the winner, that is just my personal opinion, I stand to be corrected.

“I was very happy because I knew that at that stage, anyone of us could emerge as the winner. We did not know the amount of love people had for us outside the house.

“I particularly wanted people to love me and see the values that I had because I knew that whenever I left the house, that is what people would still love about me.

“But as for me, I wanted to go to the house and let people love me to the extent that when I leave the house, I would be a mentor to other people based on my behaviour in the house.

“I wanted people to still want to know about the Tobi brand after the show and that was my driving force.”

Big Brother Naija 2017 winner, Efe in a new post appreciated Payporte, sponsors of the Big Brother Naija reality show, for giving him a platform which has enriched and also given him better opportunities in his career.

Efe who emulated Bisola who also appreciated everyone on how far she has come to achieving her dreams since the end of the reality show, also apologized to those he has offended.

[Seyi Law] Efe spoke out of anger, let’s forgive him

Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has called on fans to forgive the statement made by Efe, the winner of the 2017 edition of big brother naija.

Efe had taken to twitter to slam those who say they regret voting for him and are always criticizing his music with claims that he ought not to have dabbled into music cos he lacks the talent for it.

According to Efe -
For all those saying they regret voting for me, i entertained you and your money expired the day the show ended.

With tonnes of backlash coming the way of the reality tv star, comedian seyi law had to come to his defense by stating that fans should forgive him cos he must have said those words out of anger. The comedian made the statement on Instagram where he said:

When the world hurts you in criticism in the name of fans and wants you to take it in good faith, forgetting that words kill faster than the guns, but won’t take your words in the same light.

When the world makes a man lose his willpower to his own choice and don’t expect him to fight back, but would prefer he is drained in their own choice. The sadness and fear that enveloped me is killing.

There is no doubt there is a place for the fans and as an artiste, you must be cautious of how you walk there. @efemoney has spoken out of anger and made a mistake which might be justified, but could be avoided. We all make mistakes and he who is above them can crucify me. He has chosen a path for himself and you care too much trying to help him avoid mistakes, don’t be the one to make him make more of it.

Let’s forgive him and let him grow and he might just learn to do it right or decide to let it get all go, but let him have a say in his own life. I apologise on his behalf to those hurt and hope we can all embrace peace.

Big Brother Naija 2017 winner, Efe Ejegba, has disclosed that he has moved on from the euphoria that came with winning the reality show.

Efe who used an Economics logic to buttress his point while being interviewed by Planet TV, said though he knows the fame will diminish somehow even with the love he’s still getting, probably in the next 6 months.

He further asked his fans to keep supporting him , till when he won’t need to introduce himself.
