Ellen DeGeneres tried to pressure Gwen Stefani into popping the big question to Blake Shelton with a giant clock, but it didn’t work. That doesn’t mean Gwen’s turned off from the idea of an engagement altogether!

“What You Waiting For?” — that’s the name of Gwen Stefani’s hit song, but she won’t be asking herself that question. The 49-year-old pop star isn’t jumping the gun on proposing to her boyfriend of nearly four years, Blake Shelton, 42, even if he took a giant clock home that bore their faces after the May 1 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “As far as her proposing to Blake, like he said on Ellen, that is not going to happen,” a source close to the “Hollaback Girl” singer EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife. “When they do get engaged it will Blake doing the asking, Gwen is traditional that way.” Sorry, Blake — you can still use the clock to stay punctual for future dates, though.

Ellen assured Blake that the clock’s symbolism — you know, “time is passing” and so forth — would make Gwen drop on one knee. “So now that she knows that you’re waiting for her to ask, now that she sees this, she’ll ask you. I’ll call her,” Ellen joked to Blake, who was receptive to the idea. But no one took the segment too seriously, even after Ellen straight-up asked the country superstar if he’d marry Gwen (but was cut off by a jump scare from Julie Bowen). “Gwen thought Ellen’s prank on Blake was hilarious, she got a huge laugh out of it. And same with the clock, she thinks it’s hysterical,” our source explains. Gwen could laugh because she didn’t take Ellen’s question or joke too seriously, even if they were personal.

“She and Blake both love Ellen, she’s one of their favorites and they know how to take a joke so they’re not at all offended. They both thought it was very funny,” our source continues. However, a similar gargantuan clock didn’t turn out to just be a gag when Ellen gifted it to Jennifer Lopez and A-Rod proposed just weeks later in March 2019. Gwen wouldn’t mind that outcome! “If it does have the same result it had for JLO, if Blake proposes, then Gwen will say yes and be very happy,” our source reveals.

Gwen’s not anticipating an engagement ring in the near future, however. “She’s not sweating it at all, she’s fully secure in knowing it will all happen in the right time,” our source clarifies. Who needs the official “Mr. and Mrs.” titles anyways when Blake and Gwen already looked married, especially with Gwen’s three sons in tow, at the UglyDolls film premiere in Los Angeles on April 27?

Exclusively, Kendrick Lamar salutes Nipsey Hussle

While everyone from The Game to Barack Obama continue to mourn his loss and celebrate his life and legacy, Kendrick Lamar penned a heartfelt tribute to his West Coast brother.

In his note, which was transcribed by complex, K-Dot recalled traveling across the country with Nipsey on The Game’s “LAX Tour” in 2009 and watching Nipsey perform and admiring him for his “charisma and way with words,” but also his “integrity as a person.”

“I watched a young, ambitious black male orchestrate fellowship amongst the men around him on that tour,” wrote Kendrick. “Determined to execute one thing — and that was Greatness. Greatness in knowledge, greatness in wealth, and greatness in self.”

Kendrick’s letter appeared in the funeral service program that was given out during Thursday’s “Celebration of Life” memorial at Staples Center, along with tributes from JAY-Z, J. Cole, YG, LeBron James, Swizz Beatz, Snoop Dogg, The Game, DJ Khaled, and more.

In 2009, I remember trekking cities alongside Nipsey and family. Both performing as opening acts on The Game LAX Tour. Our sprinter van trailed their mobile home from state to state.

Though I was a there as support for my brother Jay Rock, Nipsey greeted me as one of his own. And that was very commendable. Casually I would go out to the crowd and listen to the substance he spewed on stage. Thinking to myself, this is the type of talent I want to be apart of. His charisma and way with words was powerful. But his integrity as a person, made me even more enthused.

I watched a young, ambitious black male orchestrate fellowship amongst the men around him on that tour. Determined to execute one thing — and that was Greatness. Greatness in knowledge, greatness in wealth, and greatness in self. My curiosity about who he really was started to grow from that moment in time. Was he a product if Crenshaw and Slauson? Was he a radical? Or was he a thinker? That mystique kept me engaged throughout his life career. The years progressed, and my admiration grew from up close and from afar. Watching his interviews, his philosophies, and his work amongst the black community.

Time surely revealed itself. I realized Nipsey was all of those perspectives. But most importantly, he was a vessel from God. As my heart aches for him and his family. I understand that the Most High doesn’t make mistakes. I pray that Ermias Foundation continues to blossom. I pray for those who trespass against it.

A true King will be tested in adversity. To stand in fearlessness in what he believes will impact on earth, as well as in heaven. So thank you Nipsey The Radical. Nipsey The Husband. Nipsey The Friend. Nipsey The Great. And from now on, Nipsey The Messenger…… Shalom.

Kim Kardashian has given fans a rare tour of her bizarre all-white home, and it's fair to say that privacy wasn't at the forefront of the designer's mind.

The cavernous pad - which cost a staggering £46million to build - doesn't feature a single interior door. Not on the bedroom, not on the bathroom. Nowhere.

Kim, 38, opened up her Hidden Hills home for Vogue's 73 Questions, which shows Kanye sat on their all-white bed playing with their kids Chi, one, Saint, three, and North, five - who are eating. On the sheets!

The over-sized bedroom leads to an ensuite roomy enough to house a whole rugby team. The entire exterior wall of the bathroom is made up of an endless glass window, which looks out over a Jurassic Park-style mini-jungle.


The restaurant-sized kitchen is again large enough to feed an army, but anyone hoping to take a seat in the front room might be disappointed as there's just one small white sofa, a coffee table and an unbleached Steinway piano which Kim stopped playing when she quit her piano lessons.

In the interview, she describes the house inspired by Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt as a 'minimal monastery', and reveals she knew Kanye was 'The One' when he took her to Paris Fashion Week.

"Kanye has taught me major confidence," she says, revealing that in return she's given him, "Really good financial advice on saving."
And she revealed that Vogue editor Anna Wintour actually had a hand in helping them pick North's name.

“Actually Anna had some influence in naming North because once she heard that rumour she asked me and said that name was genius so that was helpful to me," she said.

Soulja Boy arrested for possession of weapon violating probation

Rapper, Soulja Boy has been arrested on Thursday for violating his probation related to weapons charges – according to a judge, the rapper had ammunition in his house which is a violation of probation.

The judge said he also tried to falsify evidence to proved he’d completed the mandatory community service he’d been sentenced to. He’s currently being held with no option of bail.

This is coming few months after Soulja Boy was arrested for having ammunition in his home. The weapons where found after a search was conducted while he was away.

He was however released few hours later which made him to make a joke about the whole situation.

“Big Draco, I’m out of jail, nigga!” he screamed in a video he uploaded hours after his arrest. “This shit ain’t gonna stop, bruh! You got me fucked up! I had the biggest comeback in 2018!”

Exclusively Rapper, Birdman wants face tattoos removed

American Hip-hop mogul, Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams, who recently clocked 50, has revealed he wants to remove his face tattoos.

The Cash Money co-founder who has over 15 tattoos on his face alone revealed this while discussing his image on the “Wendy Williams Show.”

Birdman said ;

“I didn’t want to take the [head tattoos] off, but I want to take the facials off, and I was asking my partner, 50 [Cent]… ’cause he removed his tattoos. So I wanted to go to somebody who can take these tats off my face.”

“If I have to live with it, I will. I just felt like, me being older, I would like to get it off. But if not, it is what it is.”

Birdman also revealed that his fellow rapper, 50 Cent referred him to a specialist that removed some of his tattoos after he made him realize that his face tattoos are not as they used to be.

“I was asking my partner 50. Shout out to 50 Cent,”Birdman said. “Cause he removed his tattoos and I wanted to go to somebody who can take these tats off my face.”

EXCLUSIVE - 'Having strong enemies is a blessing' - Nipsey Hussle's cryptic tweet just one hour before he was shot dead

Los Angeles rapper, Nipsey Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Davidson Asghedomwas reportedly shot multiple times outside of his clothing store, in the Hyde Park neighborhood of  LA, south of the Crenshaw area on Sunday. 

Law enforcement sources revealed to TMZ that three people were shot at the store.  The 33- year-old father of two was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital while two other victims remain in serious condition.

The suspect is thought to be a Black male in his 20s, and sources say the man came up to Nipsey and others on foot and fired multiple shots before fleeing in a vehicle driven by a woman.

One hour before the shooting, Nipsey tweeted a message on his account that read, “Having strong enemies is a blessing.”

Two of Nigeria's finest singers, Waje Iruobe and Omawumi Megbele were guests at Pulse studio and we had the pleasure of chatting with them on their friendship, careers, and their new love, movie producing.

These women have achieved a lot career-wise over the years, making them two of the biggest singers to come out of Nigeria. Recently they co-produced their first movie together, 'She Is' and also starred in it. We got to talk to them about their relationship as friends over the years and how they have been able to maintain that bond.

Trust me when I say these women aren't just super talented but have a very huge sense of humour which kept us all laughing throughout the interview.

Interested on how they have been able to remain close friends over the years despite their busy schedules and careers, Omawumi in her usual jovial style started off by expressing her tiredness for her relationship with Waje but went to reveal that it all boils to understanding each other which has been the bedrock of their friendship.

"We've been friends for like over a decade! Yes. Can you see how difficult it is...women being friends, can't you see how difficult it is, I don lose weight based on how difficult...you are so difficult Waje. [General Laughter] In all seriousness it just boils down to taking away (Hisses) just understanding each other, I believe. The same emotions always comes up, its not like we too special that we are devoid of it...there are sometimes she feels like slapping me, there are sometimes I feel like hitting her...but you go see say if Waje touch me I don lose weight drastically [General laughter again] Waje get one born, if she blows you, you go just paralyse. It's not always easy but we try to rise above it all the time and make the best of each other and we have a lot of things in common, you know...we pray a lot together, it helps,"Omawumi reveals.

In the same vein, Waje went to talk about how their friendship has lasted for long because they share the same goals and aspirations.

"Well, it is because of my loving heart [General laughter] To be honest, Iron sharpeneth Iron, that's how I see it. Over time and over the years, we've come to understand that our friendship for us is not just about us but is also about people that have met us, the industry that we are in the cycle as well. Omawumi is not a woman that I believe is just here to create good music or create content for the fun of it but she is also about impacting people. So we share the same vision, we share the same burdens. Today while we were coming here, we were actually talking about a tragedy that happened somewhere in Lagos and these are the things we feel and these are the things that connect us together in a way. We are family oriented. We have families that we are very passionate about...the girl is alright. We've gone past being friends, people describe us as friends, we get but we've gone past being friends, we have become family...

Omawumi cuts in to add to Waje's statement by revealing that even their families are now involved in their relationship to the point where her husband gets bothered if he doesn't see her with Waje in two days

Omawumi adds ''I want to buttress what she just said. There times when everyone is just in their own space, trying to sort out different things, you'd see one person say I have not heard from Omawumi or I have not heard from Waje. My husband will say 'I have not heard from Waje' and I'll say, Waje is busy and he would say 'It's been two days now and I have not seen the two of you,'...you know, I think that's how it is. And anytime we sit down, we can actually start off the conversation with gossip which is refreshment but as time goes on, there are times when we start inspiring, aspiring of things to make the society better, then we will now say father all these things we are saying, we are not moving blindly, we have to move with the auction of the holy spirit, we go come enter prayer," she added.

Omawumi and Waje have for the first time co-produced a movie, 'She Is' together which was star-studded. From Somkele Idhalama to Desmond Elliot, Chiwetalu Agu, Frank Donga, Mawuli Gavor, Bishop Okon, Linda Ejiofor, and Ali Baba, the movie indeed will leave movie lovers spellbound.
