D'BANJ - Singers says for the past few weeks have been trying and difficult

The music star made this known on his Instagram page on Thursday, August 2, 2018. He made this known with a photo of himself looking really sad.

"The past few weeks have been incredibly trying and difficult, but God’s love has kept me and my family going. I can't thank my team enough and the incredible love from you all. May God keep us all. #StrongerTogether'... " he captioned the photo.

This is coming a few weeks after he made his first social media appearance thanking people for their support since the death of his son.

The singer made this known on his Instagram page on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. According to the singer, his family is amazed at the supported being demonstrated to them.

"We want to use this medium to thank everyone that has extended a hand of support to us during this period. On behalf of myself and my family, we are awed by the demonstration and love and care from both near and far. May God bless you all. From the Oyebanjo," he wrote.
D'banj loses his 13-month old son in drowning accident
On Sunday, June 24, 2018, Nigerian pop star D'banj lost his 13-month old son Daniel Oyebanjo III.

According to reports, the unfortunate incident happened on Sunday, June 24, 2018. It is said that little Daniel drowned in D'banj's Ikoyi residence in the afternoon. His body has been moved to a morgue in Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
D'banj who was in America for the BET Awards has posted a black photo on his Instagram page with the caption "Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful."

Entertainer, D’banj Access Bank earmark N10m to empower creative youths

Creative music platform, ‘CREAM’, pioneered by popular Nigerian music superstar, Daniel OladapoOyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, has signed a partnership deal with Access Bank Plc.

According to Damian Ifeanyi Okoroafor, CEO, DKM Digital, the partnership is aimed at discovering more talents in the Nigerian creative industry.

“Our new deal with Access Bank is designed to reach out to more talents and to expand the categories from only music to others such as agriculture, education, entrepreneurship, sports amongst others”, he remarked.

Founder of DKM Media, D’banj, expressed excitement about the new partnership. He revealed that more partnerships are in the offing.

Dbanj has revealed why he performed on stage with Don jazzy, Mo’hits crew at Davido’s 30billion concert.

The ‘Kokomaster’ as fondly called refuted rumors that he was paid to perform. The Mo’Hits crew comprising of Don Jazzy, D’Banj, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, K-Switch, Ikechukwu and D’Prince split in 2012 over several internal disagreements.

Dbanj’s Managers Frank told Punch, “Let us not get things twisted, not a dime exchanged hands for any reason. The entire performance was not motivated by money at all.

“It was Davido’s initiative, he wanted it to happen at his show so he went for it and he got what he wanted. He spoke to all of the former Mo’Hits crew members individually, they saw his point and they granted his request.” Davido is a good kid, he spoke to every member of the Mo’Hits crew.

He thought about having a Mo’Hits reunion at his show and he got it.“It was an exciting show and D’banj loved the performance. He wanted the Mo’Hits crew to perform at his show because they were people he looked up to before his career started.“He made a request and they all agreed that it could be done. Before the performance, everybody was backstage having fun and when they were through with the performance, they all went to the green room and the atmosphere was a lovely one.

“I was there with them and if you had the opportunity to have seen them bond, you would not have even believe that they ever broke up. There was no awkwardness at all. It was the same ambiance that surrounded them when they were still Mo’Hits.”

Dbanj speaks on Psquare reported split

While the internet is currently trending with Davido’s scandal, the Psquare’s brothers split cannot be easily swept under the carpet.

In the past week, fans and concerned Nigerians have had to deal with the reality of not seeing their favourite twin brothers, Peter and Paul, perform together anymore.
Reports that made round the internet said, Peter Psquare had signed a termination letter of the contract he had with Psquare, to be legally separated from Paul, after he had threatened to kill him and his family. According to Peter, he no longer felt safe with his brother and so, he demanded to go his way.

Shortly after the termination letter surfaced online, a video also surfaced. In the video, the Psquare brothers were engaged in a verbal attack that almost led to a physical combat at their lawyer’s office, Keyamo. However, Keyamo immediately reacted to the surfaced video with the claims that the scene from the video happened some years back.

The Psquare brother’s split is not well received from a lot of their colleagues as many of them had several things to say about their fight, urging them to make peace and come back as one.

Just recently, D’banj also weighed in his thoughts on the fight and has blamed it on Social media. According to D’banj, the social media is responsible for fuelling the rift with several negative reports, recounting that, the same thing happened when he exited from Don Jazzy’s Mo’ Hits Records.
In a recent chat with newsmen, when he was asked to air his opinion about the on-going crisis, between the brother,s he said, “The media should sit back and let them settle their issues amicably.

They’ remaking it worse by writing all sorts of stories about them. Brothers will always fight and get back as brothers, but the media should not write negative stories in a bid to make money off the headlines. Remember I almost became a victim of the media back then when I left Mo’ Hits, but I thank my stars that I pulled through and I am still here.”

That’s pride” said Eedris Abdulkareem.

D’banj is one those who haven’t been spared by Eedris Abdulkareem in his unpopular rage. In an interview with Goldmyne TV, the veteran Nigerian rapper lashed out at D’banj for his 2012 separation from Don Jazzy.“The biggest mistake someone like D’banjmade was to be so stupid and leave Don Jazzy. You know why? Dbanj no gets talent. Na razzmatazz he gets,” he said.

Timaya has gotten his own fair share of insults from Eedris Abdulkareem’s rants. Eedris Abdulkareem lashed out at Timaya, claiming that the star has forgotten his roots and has become an ingrate. However, Timaya wasn’t having any of this insults as he took to his Instagram page on September 2017, where he took Eedris to the cleaners, calling him a “Dirty Igbo smoker”.

In the case of Davido, Eedris Abdulkareem was a bit relaxed on him. He rather had a message for him concerning the kind of videos he makes. During an interview, Eedris said. “Davido and other artistes are riding on international platforms and making Africa proud. But my advice to him and others artistes is that don’t go to America and come back to show us cocaine in your videos which makes no sense.”
