EXCLUSIVE REPORT: Melania Trump Turns Up For White House Xmas Reception: Why She Skipped The Decorations Reveal

There she is! Melania Trump was all smiles at the White House Christmas Reception on Tuesday, November 27, despite missing the official decorations reveal! Here’s why! And, see photos from the reception, here!
Melania Trump , 48, looked stunning in a belted cream-colored dress at the White House Christmas Reception on Tuesday, November 27! The First Lady and President Donald Trump , 72, hosted the lavish event, which greeted guests with an orchestra. Melania, with her hair down and wavy, was all smiles at the holiday reception despite skipping out on the White House Christmas Decorations reveal on Monday.

As for the Christmas Reception, Donald and Melania welcomed attendees from behind a podium, addressing the group over a microphone. “I just want to wish [you] Merry Christmas, and a happy, prosperous and peaceful New Year, and enjoy the White House,” Melania said to guests. The orchestra’s musicians, who were dressed in red coats, at in front of beautifully decorated Christmas trees as they played.
The president added (as seen captured on an attendee’s Instagram): “On behalf of the White House, on behalf of the president, I just want to say congratulations and your entire staff and many of whom are right in the audience right now, really that’s a job well…”, he said before the video cut off his speech.

But why did she decide to opt out of the big reveal? It turns out the First Family didn’t want to bring negativity into their home. “They didn’t want to engage in the traditional media reveal this year because they feel the press is so hostile towards them that they really don’t want to entertain them in their home,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. However, the insider notes that select members of the media were allowed to walk through decorated areas of the White House for a limited time on an unguided tour. “As far as Melania is concerned though, the decorations are for her family, and for the public to enjoy, not for the media, who will likely only try and criticize what she’s done, just as they did last year,” the source explains.
The First Family will open up the People’s House to the public throughout December for tours of the Christmas decorations,” the source says. They also have a ton of events organized, including carol singing concerts, festive dinners, and high school musicians performing. “Melania loves the Holidays and she goes all out for Christmas. —She’s actually been working on this year’s theme and festivities since August, and she’s incredibly proud of how everything has turned out!”

Melania Trump Disgraced By Donald Trump Disrespect At Aretha Franklin’s Funeral

Melania Trump is ’embarrassed’ over the insults thrown at her husband during Aretha Franklin’s funeral. A source close to the first lady told HL EXCLUSIVELY how she feels ‘horrible’.During his speech at Aretha Franklin‘s funeral, Reverend Al Sharpton delivered not one but two different disses aimed at Donald Trump, one implying that he needed to learn the meaning of respect, and another slamming Trump for saying that Aretha “worked for” Trump on “numerous” occasions.

A source close to Melania Trump told us EXCLUSIVELY that she’s mortified over the shade thrown at her husband. “Melania feels humiliated and embarrassed by the multiple Donald insults at the Aretha funeral,” our source said. “It makes Melania feel horrible that Donald is not welcome or invited to Aretha’s funeral as well as McCain’s funeral and then to hear about speakers making subtle jabs at her husband while speaking at Aretha’s funeral only makes things worse.

Melania wishes more people liked her family and is constantly embarrassed by the public’s opinion of her husband and when people take shots at him and her family, it really stings.”As a result, Melania has been trying to get Donald to reel back his rhetoric. “Melania is constantly pleading with Donald to choose his words more carefully and tone it down when speaking in public, to the press or even in private,” our source went on to say. “From the first time Melania heard what Donald said to Billy Bush about grabbing women’s privates to the President’s daily wild tweets, Melania is constantly monitoring, watching and dreading every word her husband speaks or tweets.

”When it comes down to Donald's latest controversies, Melania is living in fear from tweet to tweet. “She fears what he will say next and is tired of the stress of worrying about what he will say or tweet,” our source continued. “Melania has begged him to slow down and be more careful with his words, but she is slowly giving up hope as Donald refuses to listen to her or anyone. He continues to do and say whatever he wants, and it is driving Melania mad.”

#JohnMcCainFuneral: Fans Slam Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner For Attending After Donald Trump Being Ban

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have arrived at John McCain’s funeral to pay their respects. Their attendance comes after Donald Trump was deliberately not invited to the service.

Friends, family members and politicians gathered at Washington National Cathedral on Sept. 1 for John McCain‘s funeral. Among those mourning the Arizona senator and war hero were Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner– which is notable since Ivanka’s father Donald Trump was explicitly not invited to the memorial. As previously reported, people close to McCain told the White House in May that he didn’t want Trump at his funeral and would rather have Vice President Mike Pence be there instead.

Pence spoke at the memorial earlier this week, saying “the president asked me to be here on behalf ofa grateful nation, to pay a debt of honor and respect to a man who served his country throughout his life, in uniform and in public office.”People weren’t thrilled by Ivanka and Jared’s appearance at the funeral, though.

Twitter user @MyKidsHavePaws wrote, “I think @jaredkushner & @IvankaTrump should NOT have attended @senjohnmccain’s funeral! THIS IS HIS DAY!” Another user wrote, “Ivanka and Jared have major balls showing up at John McCain’s funeral. The entire Trump family should have stayed away.”

TALK ABOUT A COMPLETE LACK OF SITUATIONAL AWARENESS,@IvankaTrump& her contemptible hubby showing up at@SenJohnMcCain's funeral this morning. Seriously kids, head to NYC or some place you are welcome or can blend in with other assh*les.— Jamie Lindsay (@JamieLindsay)September 1, 2018

Other political figures who attended the service included former Vice President Al Gore, former Secretary of State John Kerry, and senators Elizabeth Warren and Sherrod Brown.
Two former presidents and political rivals, George W. Bush and Barack Obama were also in attendance, and are each expected to deliver eulogies later in the service.

EXCLUSIVE: Melania Trump Embarrassed Over Donald Trump’s McCain Funeral Ban

Every major politician will be at late Sen. John McCain’s D.C. funeral, except President Donald Trump. We’ve got details on if wife Melania will still attend even though her husband has been banned.

One of late Sen. John McCain ‘s final wishes was that President Donald Trump be banned from his funeral upon his death from brain cancer on Aug. 25. All other living presidents will be in attendance on Sept. 1, and his 2008 presidential campaign rival
Barack Obama will be giving the eulogy. That shows what a truly awful person McCain though Trump to be. Now wife Melania , 48, is feeling humiliation by proxy.

“Melania feels embarrassed yet again by Donald, this time because of his ban from McCain’s funeral. She attended Barbara Bush ‘s funeral without him and now she feels pressure to go to this one without him too,” a Washington DC insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Melania actually looked the happiest she has in ages when posing with former Presidents George W. Bush ,
Barack Obama and their wives after Barbara’s service. She appeared relieved to be in the company of intelligent adults and not her bratty man-child husband.

Trump was so cruel to McCain ever since the tycoon entered politics. The Arizona senator was a Vietnam war hero, spending nearly 6 years being tortured in a P.O.W. camp after his plane was shot down and Trump actually dissed him over that.
“I don’t like losers. He’s not a war hero,” Trump said mockingly of McCain at an Iowa campaign stop in 2015. “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured.” Umm, Trump got five deferments from serving in Viet Nam because of alleged bone spurs in his foot, so it was incredibly unpatriotic for a draft dodger to diss McCain like that.

“Melania does not feel entirely welcome or comfortable attending the funeral after John made it clear that Donald was not welcome. She resents Donald again for being put in the middle of an awkward position,” our insider continues. “Melania wants to do what is right, whether that means going in Donald’s place, or respectfully staying away. But she feels humiliated that this is an issue and blames her husband again for putting her in another challenging situation. She is weighing her options, has been discussing the issue with the McCain family, wants to what is best, and will make the decision when she is ready.”
McCain was so beloved by both Republicans and Democrats.

Former Vice President and close friend Joe Biden gave the eulogy at his Arizona memorial service on Aug. 30,
breaking down in tears several times. After that the senator’s body was flown to Washington D.C., where his casket will lie in state in the U.S. Capitol rotunda on Aug. 31, a day before his funeral in the nation’s capital. Everyone who is anyone past or present in U.S. politics will be on hand….except for the sitting President of the United States. That speaks volumes towards Trump’s awful character.

THROUGH TWEETS, Donald & Melania Trump Send Prayers To Senator John McCain ’s Family Despite Previous bitter quarrel

After news broke that Senator John McCain passed away on Aug. 25, Donald and Melania Trump sent their condolences to his family on Twitter – despite not being invited to the funeral.

Donald Trump just did something unexpected: he tweeted something
nice . After news broke that Senator John McCain died at 81 in his Arizona home on Aug. 25 after battling brain cancer, the president took to Twitter to send prayers to the McCain family. “My deepest sympathies and respect go out to the family of Senator John McCain. Our hearts and prayers are with you!” he wrote on his personal account.

via hollywoodlife
Trump’s wife Melania also shared a heartfelt message on the social media platform. “Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to the McCain Family. Thank you Senator McCain for your service to the nation,” the first lady tweeted.
McCain’s family announced the Arizona senator had passed away just one day after he decided to end treatment in his long and brutal battle against glioblastoma, an aggressive, cancerous brain tumor that required multiple surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy. McCain’s office said in a statement, “Senator John Sidney McCain III died at 4:28 p.m. on August 25, 2018. With the Senator when he passed were his wife Cindy and their family.
At his death, he had served the United States of America faithfully for sixty years.”

@realDonaldTrump
My deepest sympathies and respect g out to the family of Senator John McCain. Our hearts and prayers are wi you!

It’s interesting that Trump commented on the senator’s passing since he won’t be receiving an invite to the funeral. People close to McCain told the White House in May that he didn’t want Trump to attend his funeral and would rather have Vice President Mike Pence attend instead, a source confirmed to NBC News at the time.

Melanie Trump @FLOTUS
Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to the McCain Family. Than you Senator McCain for your service t the nation.

However, even though he did say something, Trump left out any mention of McCain’s military service. It’s not entirely surprising as Trump has been criticizing McCain regularly ever since he launched his president campaign in 2015. He even went so far as to mock the senator’s time as a tortured prisoner of war in Vietnam, saying, “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” The controversial remark garnered widespread backlash.

McCain has consistently spoken out anytime he thought the president was violating American democratic or national security norms, and continued to have his office put pressure on him as he was out of Washington receiving treatment this year.

First Lady, Melania Trump’s parents become U.S citizens through chain immigration

Melania Trump’sparents Viktor and Amalija Knavs, who had been living in the UnitedStates as legal permanent residents after leaving their nativecountry Slovenia, have become US citizens through the chain immigration process whichDonald Trumphates.

First Lady Melania Trump’s parents becameUScitizens in a naturalisation ceremonyinNew Yorkon Thursday, US time, completing a years-longimmigration process even as President Donald Trump called fornew laws to bar Americans from sponsoring parents and other relatives.Michael Wildes, the couple’s lawyer who confirmed his clients took the oath of citizenship, did not elaborate, citing the couple’s privacy.“Citizenship was just awarded,” Wildes said.

“They have prevailed in a wonderful journey as millions have.”Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for the First Lady, also declinedto comment “as they arenot part of the administration”.The Washington Post first reported in February that the Knavs had gained legal permanent residency, and that legal experts believed it was likely Melania Trump had sponsored their applications for family-based green cards.Wildes said the Knavs satisfied the requirement that permanent residents hold their green cards for five years before they can apply for US citizenship.

It is unclear when the Knavses first moved to the United States, but by late 2007, Viktor Knavs was listed in public records as residing at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Florida. The Knavses received no special treatment because of their relationship with the first family, Wildes told reporters in New York.“The application, the process, the interviewwas no different than anybody else’s, other than the security arrangements to facility today,” he said. “This is an example of it going right.

They’re very excited.”However before now, Trump mounted a push to slash legal immigration, including provisions to constrict the ability of US citizensfrom sponsoring their parents, adult children and siblings for green cards.

In November he tweeted:“Chain migration must end now. Some people come in and they bring their wholefamily, who can be truly evil with them. Not acceptable.”

Do you think, Melania Trump Deliberately Wore ‘I Don’t Care’ Jacket To Meet Child Migrants?

Melania Trump deliberately wore her controversial ‘I don’t care, do u?’ jacket to meet detained child migrants, an expert claims.Speaking on Today Friday, respected journalist Peter Alexander said:

‘Nobody knows exactly what to make of it, but speaking to anybody who knows Melania Trump, and they will tell you that nothing the former model does is accidental.’‘One interesting note here, even after this controversy erupted..Melania Trump put the jacket back on, just in time for the cameras, when she returned to Washington DC.

’Mrs Trump sparked a firestorm of criticism over the $39 Zara khaki jacket with its daubed slogan which she wore to meet children who had been separated from their parents at a shelter in McAllen, Tx., Thursday.

Her spokesman claimed that the jacket had not been intended to convey a statement, and urged journalists not to read anything into it.

But President Trump issued a contradictory tweet hours later, claiming itwas a dig at the media who have recently focused on his wife’s absence from the public eye following kidney surgery, and the state of the Trumps marriage. He tweeted: ‘“I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?” written on the back of Melania’s jacket, refers to the Fake News Media.

‘Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!’Many critics have also highlighted the Trump family’s obsession with their image, saying that it was highly unlikely the First Lady would have put on the coat without realizing the reaction it was likely to provoke.

[Melania Trump's] Parents Are Now Permanent US Residents

The parents of first lady Melania Trump have become legal permanent residents of the United States and are close to obtaining their citizenship, according to people familiar with their status, and their lawyer.

Immigration experts said Viktor and Amalija Knavs very likely relied on a family reunification process that President Trump has derided as “chain migration” and proposed ending in such cases.

The Knavses, formerly of Slovenia, are living in the country on green cards, according to Michael Wildes, a New York-based immigration lawyer who represents the first lady and her family.
