Taylor Swift is praising Demi Moore for owing her truth in her memoir, Inside Out. The singer is one of four famous faces to grace the cover of People magazine as one of their People of the Year.

She could not stop gushing over Moore’s book, which revealed a slew of personal details regarding the Ghost star’s life. Moore dished the good, the bad, and the ugly with no detail deemed too personal to tell.

Now Swift is letting the world know Inside Out was one of her favorite books of 2019.

“I couldn’t put it down. You read it in two days! I was thinking about how, when she was the highest-paid actress, she was just punished ruthlessly for it. That’s so wrong, and she was treated so badly in that moment,” the Lover songstress expressed to the magazine.

Moore’s New York Times best-selling memoir gave fans insight into how she balanced a career, raising three girls, sobriety, and two high-profile marriages. There was a point where Moore was the highest-paid actress in the world. Swift thinks the A Few Good Men star is now getting the last laugh.

“I feel like finally, she’s getting the last laugh because [now] people are like ‘Yeah! That’s great that you were the highest-paid actress. She owns a lot in the book, and it’s really well-written,” Swift shared.

It has been quite a year for the singer too. She may not have released a memoir, but Swift has accomplished plenty in 2019. The blonde beauty found her own voice this year, fighting back against Scooter Braun and Big Machine Records for taking her music hostage.
