Billie Eilish Shows Appreciation To Britney Spears On Stage At This Year’s Jingle Ball

The 17 year old star took the stage at this year’s iHeartRadio’s 102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball and she was great as always! Not only that but there is one more reason why Billie Eilish grabbed the attention, aside from her talent, and that is her decision to pay tribute to a fellow celebrity – Britney Spears!

Billie was wearing a T-shirt and basketball shorts combo that had a print of the pop legend’s face and just in case there would be confusion as to whose likeness she was rocking on her outfit, Britney’s name was also on there!

It’s great to see the love since this past summer, Britney also showed the younger singer some appreciation by sharing a clip of her dancing to Billie’s Bad Guy while also doing her I’m a Slave 4 U choreo from the 2001 MTV VMAs! Iconic!

Interestingly enough, the Gen Z singer was actually born three months after that performance!

Still, it looks like she might be a big fan of Britney nevertheless as she commented: ‘OMG’ under her video back in June.

And now, she is paying proper tribute to her on stage!

Maybe Billie can relate since she, just as Britney, started her career very early on.

Finneas O’Connell, Billie’s brother and fellow musician, songwriter and producer, talked about his sister being in the spotlight at such a young age at the show.

He told E! News that ‘I think it’s really hard to navigate your teens and let alone navigate them as a person with a lot on their plate, with a lot to do. I think she’s done it incredibly well and I’m just really proud of her. I couldn’t imagine a person turning 18 with more to be proud of.’
