RHOC – Meghan King Edmonds Is Looking Forward To A New Beginning After Split From Jim Edmonds

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds is ready to start the next chapter of her life after her sudden split from Jim Edmonds in October. The 35-year-old says that she is looking forward to co-parenting with her ex, and she has “really high hopes for the future, in every way.”

Meghan recently talked to Us Weekly at the KIIS FM iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One, and she says that the new year – and the new decade – is the perfect time “to kind of launch positive thinking and the law of attraction.”

“I don’t know. New beginnings are huge, so I’m looking forward to that,” said Meghan.

The mom of three said that her children – Aspen, 3, Hart, 17 months, and Hayes, 17 months – are her top priority, and she and Jim agreed to 50/50 custody after he suddenly filed for divorce in late October.

Just hours after Meghan gave an interview on the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary and revealed that they were spending the day with their kids and were going to a therapy session to work on their marriage after his summer sexting scandal, Jim shockingly filed for divorce.

The split came after Meghan accused Jim of cheating with the nanny, which is something that both Jim and the nanny have denied. The former St. Louis Cardinals center fielder said in an interview after the split that Meghan’s accusations were “dangerous, irresponsible, and hurtful.”

A few days after Jim filed for divorce, Meghan wrote a blog post titled “Broken,” and in it she admitted that she didn’t know if Jim slept with the nanny or whether they were just being “exceedingly inappropriate” by hanging out socially without telling her.

“I’ve gone back and forth with my thoughts for a couple days but as I write this, I don’t think he did. But I still don’t understand why he’d lie,” wrote Meghan.

In their custody agreement, they agreed to alternate holidays with the children, and Meghan King Edmonds had them for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, she revealed on Instagram that everyone was sick during the holiday, and she posted a pic of cheese and crackers and wrote in the caption, “This is what dinner looks like.”

As for Jim Edmonds, he spent Thanksgiving with his older children from previous marriages – Hayley, 22, Landon, 13, and Sutton, 10.
