New Report Claims Shaunie O’Neal May Lose Producer Credit For Basketball Wives!

Shaunie O’Neal has been at the head of the Basketball Wives executive producer table since the show was introduced. After one of the most controversial seasons ever, the mom may be getting demoted by the network according to a new report.

Fans and cast members alike have always had a split opinion about Shaunie being both an executive producer on the show and a star. Some feel that if a star isn’t liked by Shaq’s ex-wife, then they have to live in constant fear of losing their job.

During the last installment, O’Neal was accused of playing favorites with Evelyn Lozada and Malaysia Pargo in addition to being called out for colorism.

OG Chijundu felt that she was discriminated against and vilified because she was punished for getting verbally and nearly physically violent with multiple castmates. Viewers have brought up the fact that Malaysia and Evelyn have come to blows with co-stars season after season and have not been given the same treatment.

That Grape Juice recently reported that a source is claiming VH1 wants to take Shaunie out of her EP position.

To add insult to injury, the businesswoman is facing a lot of heat after an Instagram Live went viral where she allegedly said that fans were ‘too invested’ in the reality show.

This caused multiple viewers to tweet that they will no longer be tuning into the series.
