Liam Payne Reveals What Really Happened Between Him And Harry Styles
Fans of One Direction know that Liam Payne and Harry Styles don’t exactly get along with each other. Reported first by E! Online, Harry and Liam reunited recently while at Capital FM’s Jingle Ball, and fans have been wondering what went down.
This past Thursday, Liam dished on the quasi-One Direction reunion between himself and Harry during a chat with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
Liam discussed the incident on “Plead The Fifth.” After he refused to answer whether or not he and Naomi Campbell had dated, the star had to answer Andy’s question regarding Harry.
According to the singer, he and Harry spoke about a few different things following three years of not seeing each other. The star explained that it was good to see Styles again because it had been so long since they had gotten together.
As was noted above, Harry and Liam haven’t kept in touch much. During a chat with reporters from The Face Magazine earlier this month, the singer admitted he and Harry talk to each other the least out of all the One Direction members.
Liam said to the publication, “I speak to Louis quite regularly,” before going on to say that in Harry’s case, he doesn’t quite know who he is now, considering his identity has supposedly changed. Payne joked that their material was completely opposite to each other, before going to say he was the “anti-christ” to Styles.
Additionally, Andy asked him about Harry’s performance on Saturday Night Live, as well as Zayn Malik, who disappeared precipitously from the spotlight following his romance with Gigi Hadid. Harry jokingly forgot Zayn’s name during the segment and referred to him as Ringo Starr.
It doesn’t help that Zayn’s second record, Icarus Falls, didn’t do quite as well as his first record which featured his hit song, “Pillow Talk,” starring Gigi Hadid in the music video.
Entertainers and performing artists, for years, have been plagued by allegations of faking their performances live. For that reason, Cohen asked him if he had ever “lip-synced” on stage, and Liam admitted he had only done it once.
