Southern Charm – Thomas Ravenel Says His Kids Are ‘Thriving’ After Reaching Custody Agreement With Kathryn Dennis

Former Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel and his baby mama Kathryn Dennis were in and out of court for a year in their latest custody battle over their children Kensie, 5, and Saint, 4. The former couple finally came to an agreement last month, and they have joint legal and physical custody of the kids, while Ravenel is the primary custodian.

The former South Carolina state treasurer says that he is happy the custody battle is over, and his kids are doing extremely well.

“I am happy a custody agreement has been reached,” Ravenel told Radar Online. “The kids are thriving and I’m pleased with it. I’m looking forward to a brighter new year.”

Bravo fired Ravenel from Southern Charm in the summer of 2018 after two women came forward and accused him of sexual assault. South Carolina police arrested Ravenel and he went through his criminal case at the same time he was battling Dennis for custody.

Things turned nasty, as the former couple accused each other of everything from drug use to alcoholism. Ravenel also sued Bravo and Southern Charm’s production company to try and prevent Dennis from talking about their custody battle on the show, and to keep Kensie and Saint away from Bravo cameras.

Now, his legal battles are behind him, as Ravenel pleaded guilty in his criminal case and agreed to pay restitution to his victims without serving jail time. And, Ravenel also came out on top in his custody case as primary custodian. Meanwhile, Dennis must have a nanny supervise all of her visits with her kids.

The judge in the custody case also ruled that Kensie and Saint would not appear on Southern Charm. But, both Ravenel and Dennis have continued to post pics of their kids on social media.

“Kids all ready for school,” Thomas captioned a pic of Kensie in pink coat, while Saint wore a blue one. “And as unbelievable as it sounds I get them ready all by myself and I feel I’m getting good at it but I think it’s time Saint got some cuter clothes🙃.”

Ravenel apparently doesn’t have any plans of returning to Southern Charm in the near future, even though his legal issues are in the past and Bravo delayed filming because of lack of drama among the current cast.

An insider says that they are looking for new cast members, and they won’t start filming until January.

“Without Thomas they need the drama to come back,” revealed the insider.

New episodes of Southern Charm will return to Bravo in the spring or summer of 2020.
