Jean was open that her faith has been the one thing she can count on as she watches her husband battle a deadly disease. She practices Religious Science, which uses ancient healing practices like sound healing, meditation, and Reiki, to help guide people through troubling times.
“Just ask the universe, ‘What’s the next step for me? The universe will always respond. I am absolutely sure that we live in a benevolent universe that is always conspiring for our highest and greatest good,” Jean shared when asked what advice she would give to others going through the same ordeal as she and her family.
The 54-year-old also admitted she often uses a combination of crystal bowls, as well as her own voice, to prompt healing in other people.
“It’s like how when a mother sings a lullaby to her baby. It’s the intention in her voice that is calming the baby. She’s singing the words of life and beauty to this little baby, and the baby feels that in the vibration of her voice,” she expressed.
Jean is also the founder of the spiritual blog insidewink.com. Her site is dedicated to helping readers “helping readers break negative cycles, read and share feel-good stories or affirmations, and find peace within themselves.” She is all about uplifting her husband and anyone else dealing with any sort of difficult time.
Alex Trebek’s wife, Jean, is using love and faith to help guide him, as well as their entire family through his cancer battle. She truly believes that self-love is a great healing power for others, especially anyone in crisis.
Over the years, the game show host has spoken fondly of his wife, his only regret in life is not getting more time with her. Based on her honesty and revelation regarding her faith, it is easy to see why Alex loves her so much. The positive, fresh, and loving outlook is kind of contagious.
