Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Might Be Moving To Africa
According to a report from E! Online, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might just be considering moving to Africa to get away from the continuous media scrutiny and criticism from the British tabloid press. According to the Duke Of Sussex, the move isn’t completely unrealistic, but it likely won’t be happening anytime soon.
In April of this year, The Sunday Times claimed Harry’s advisers were working toward finding a role for Harry to function in Africa, as well as his wife. Buckingham Palace stated at the time that no major decisions had been made at that point.
In the new documentary on ITV, Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, the newlywed royal couple tour through the Southern part of the massive continent. Meghan and Harry have done much work in that area, and for that reason, it is very important to them.
On the program, which will air on Sunday evening in the United Kingdom as well as on Wednesday in the United States, Harry said to the documentarian that they don’t know where they would live in Africa, however, he and his wife had just come back from Cape Town, which he described as an “amazing place.”
Harry noted, however, there were a lot of problems in Cape Town, and he doesn’t know how he and Meghan could have a positive impact on the area without the “judgment of how we would be with those surroundings.”
According to Harry, he and Meghan intend on doing their life’s work in Africa, for the sake of “conservation.” Harry stated there were 19 commonwealth countries in the area, and a lot could be done with the amount of potential there.
This comes after Harry’s comments in an essay in which he accused the British tabloids of conducting a “ruthless” campaign of propaganda against his wife. The former Suits star was criticized in the press for her alleged behavior while pregnant as well as shortly after she gave birth to their 5-month-old child, Archibald.
In the documentary, multiple reports noted, Meghan becomes emotional while describing the challenges of continuously being put under the spotlight.
