CELEBRITY - Henry Knight blasts P-square’s Mr. P for allegedly stealing his song
A budding Nigerian singer Henry Knight hascalled outMr Pof the defunct P-square groupover an alleged stealing of his intellectual property.
According to Henry Knight, Mr P’s newly released song, ‘Ebeano’ has some materials directly lifted from his song and he was not given any credit for this, neither was he contacted before the song was produced.
In a lengthy message posted on Instagram, Henry Knight, revealed how A-list acts tend to get away with content theft, adding that most of these acts are never ready to help you grow but would rather rip you off and make so much profit off your property.
He even cited the case of Davido and rising singer Teni, whom Davido acknowledged for using materials fromher song.
And he went further to mention that already established artistes should use this medium to assist the budding ones as just a single acknowledgement couldbe all they need to rise too in the Industry.
