Queen Elizabeth Reportedly Slapped Her Nephew In Front Of Elton John

According to a report from Page Six, Elton John recently dished on the time he saw Queen Elizabeth smack her nephew upside the head in his new memoir. In his book, Me, the notorious piano player wrote that he saw the incident go down right before his eyes – claims a report from the Sunday Times of London.

According to the “Rocketman” singer, Queen Elizabeth the Second once asked her nephew, Viscount Linley, to pay attention to his sister, Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones, because she was feeling under the weather and had to leave the party to go sleep. However, Viscount didn’t want to do it.

When Viscount said he didn’t want to do it, the Queen gave him a little smack across the face, but more than once. In fact, the singer claims the Queen punctuated her sentences between each word with her own individual slap.

According to John, she isn’t known to be a wild figure, however, in private, her behavior could be quite “hilarious.” Moreover, Elton dished on his relationship with Lady Princess Diana, whom he had a very close and intimate friendship with.

In fact, he told the time when both Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone fought over her at a party they were both at. According to John in his book – claims a report from The Daily Mail – Richard Gere and Diana were getting along great with each other and Sylvester was visibly jealous.

At that time, Richard was just coming out of a breakup with Cindy Crawford, and he and the Princess had taken a liking to each other while hanging out near the fireplace. They were deep in conversation. John wrote in his book that Stallone appeared to eye the couple up with a very jealous look on his face.

Stallone, Gere, and Elton John were at the party together hosted by Elton and David Furnish, who would later become his husband. The party was thrown for the chief of Disney, Jeffrey Katzenberg.
