Marie Osmond’s newborn granddaughter is having health issues and so, the star took to social media to ask followers to pray for her safety. The entertainer was happy to welcome the baby girl to the family but, unfortunately, the infant was taken into the ICU not too long after being born.

The 59-year-old entertainer tweeted: ‘Asking for prayers for my precious granddaughter born this evening 6 lbs 10 ounces. So thankful that she was able to be taken to children’s ICU in one of our amazing @CMNHospitals. gratitude that she’s in their care!🙏👶🏻 ♥.’

As you can see, the woman did not explain what kind of health problems the infant has but nevertheless, fans made sure to both congratulate Osmond and her family as well as send her their best wishes and positive vibes in hopes that the bundle of joy will be Okay.

Meanwhile, Osmond became a co-host on The Talk earlier this month.

She replaced Sara Gilbert, who is set to exit the show after nine years!

After the announcement was made, Osmond chatted with ET, revealing why she chose to be part of the talk show.

‘Honestly, this is like a gift. From the crew, staff, the ladies are fantastic, there’s no drama. Everybody’s there, just full of love and of work ethic and we are going to bring it. I have been with them for over nine years, I’d come back and forth and done different shows,’ she told the news outlet.

The music legend is set to take over that co-star seat starting in September

Furthermore, on November 16, she and brother Donny Osmond will be wrapping up their Las Vegas residency.
