Real Madrid has surpassed the previous record they had under their former manager Zinedine Zidane and has now set a new height in the 4-1 win against Leganes at the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Made completed 882 passes against the Japanese team, compared to 869 against the Pepineros, with a 91.82 per cent success rate in their last match.
Real Madrid lead the passing statistics with 1,505, just ahead of Barcelona who has 1,470 and a game in hand. Los Blancos are also ahead in terms of completed passes as well, at 90.76 per cent to 87.89 per cent.
Lopetegui has introduced a more pressing game at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid breeze past Leganes in a fashionable style with a 4-1 scoreline. Lopetegui’s men have now recorded three wins in three games.
