Team mates and coach reacts to Christiano Ronaldo lack of goal
Cristiano Ronaldo fired blank in another outing for Juventus, the Portuguese forward was unable find the back of the net in their last three games and has got his manager Max Allegri and teammates talking, according to tribal football.
Allegri insisted that there is no issue over the lack of goals despite the former Real Madrid star missing a scoring chance in the 2-1 against Parma on Saturday.
Allegri argued: “There are different difficulties a striker has to deal with in Serie A, but he had a good game overall. I am happy with what he's doing and the break for international duty will help all of us to be sharper.
“Mandzukic has always been generous, but even I didn't expect him to be in such good shape after the World Cup. Paulo Dybala is slowly finding his form too and did well when he came on.“I need everyone going forward, suchas Medhi Benatia, Andrea Barzagli and Daniele Rugani, so the more fresh legs and sharp minds we've got, the better."Goalscorer Blaise Matuidi stated:
“He is a great player and will score eventually, as he's very important forthis team. He was unlucky this evening, but we will help him and he's got plenty of time. He was a little annoyed at not being able to score, but it'll come."Ronaldo is still taking his time to adjust to the game in Serie A but the fans have begun to worry about his form in front of goals.
