They voted for being poor! Swedish politician issues GRAVE threat to UK over Brexit
Swedish politician Magdalena Andersson insisted there will be “absolutely no cherry picking” from the UK in Brexittalks.
Speaking to Reuterslive from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ms Andersson said: “Of course, we want to have good trading with the UK because it is good for the trade between the UK and the European Union. It’s good for the European Union and it is even more important for the UK.
“But I mean, it’s also very clear and we are being very united among EU 27 there is absolutely no cherry picking from the UK. “I think for the British people, I think it’s important to know what they actually voted for. Sometimes you get a feeling that they voted for both being poor.”

Ms Andersson said the UK must realise “there can be no cherry picking”, adding Britain must understand being outside of the European Union means you can’t have the “good things” that are part of being an EU member. Prime Minister Theresa May ruled out remaining in the single market and customs union after Brexit during her keynote Brexit speech in January 2017.
Mrs May called for a bespoke trade dealsimilar to Canada’s CETA deal but with added benefits, dubbed by David Davis as "Canada plus plus plus".
The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier said on in November that the UK cannot “cherry pick” at aspects of the single market. He said the UK will lose the benefits of the single market access when it leaves the European Union.
