Manchester City Manager, Pep Guardiola reveals where he would end up his coaching career

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed where he will end up his coaching career at Barcelona, La Masia.

The 47-year-old Spaniard manage Barcelona B team for one season before he replaces Frank Rijkaard as the first-team boss in 2008 where he spent four seasons in Nou Camp, winning Champions League and La Liga title.

Guardiola won 14 trophies with the Catalan outfit before moving to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich three years and now his in the third season at Etihad Stadium.

The Premier League-winning coach says he would like to return to work in the Blaugrana’s youth academy one day. Guardiola told Universo Valdano."My teams are going to try to play how I want."I will finish again where I started… my last steps will be in the youth teams – I hope at Barca. I believe it’s– to start, it’s the best."My time there as a coach is finished because I’m not the same as I was then, nor is the way they see me the same."I had the time of my life there, when the world was our oyster, with some incredible players."

Former Arsenal legend Thierry Henry revealed what he learnt in his two years spell with Pep Guardiola during their time in Barcelona, according to report in Sky Sport.

Henry who was a dominant force in the Premier League arrived in Spain towards the end of his career and at 30 years old he learnt something new.Guardiola’s philosophy injected something new into the Frenchman brand of football.

"I learned how to play football again,"he said on Sky Sports.The Arsenal legend arrived in Barcelona in 2007 and worked with Guardiola in 2008 to 2010 season.

Under Guardiola Henry won a Champions League, two leagues, a Copa del Rey, a Club World Cup, a European Super Cup and a Spanish Super Cup.He played 80 games for the Camp Nou outfit and scored 35 goals in theprocess.

Argentina want Man City boss Guardiola to replace Sampaoli as new La Albiceleste manager.

The South American nation under-performed at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, with Argentina edging through the group stages before losing to France 4-3 in the last 16 in Russia.

According to AS reporting that Argentine Football Association has set their sights on Guardiola as former Sevilla and Chile coach Sampaoli is expected to part ways with the team in the near future.
The report claims that the AFA are prepared to offer the Premier League winning manager a four-year contract worth £12m per year, which would last until the end of the 2022 World Cup.

A while ago, Guardiola showed an interest in one day coaching La Albiceleste where he would be reunited with his former player Lionel Messi and a number of his Cityzen stars of Sergio Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi.

Guardiola recently renewed his deal at the Etihad Stadium until 2021.

The reason why there is a lot of points is we have done it really well."Conte has faced speculation over his immediate future at Chelsea, with the Italian batting away questions on the subject on a weekly basis, but Guardiola believes the former Juventus boss' approach will have a lasting effect on the English game."What Antonio has done here in the Premier League, maybe the people don't realise,"he added."He introduced another way to attack with five at the back, another system, a lot of teams, even Arsenal, had to do a lot of imitating to do that.

"Tactically he is a master, he did it amazingly with the national team with Italy and when he went to Turin. I think Conte is going to leave something to English football. I'm sure of that."
