Morgan Freeman reacts to reports of alleged sexual assault

Veteran Hollywood actor, Morgan Freeman has reacted to reports of sexual harassment by multiple women.In an exclusive report by CNN that made the 80-year old actor the latest in the long lineof popular men who have beenaccused in the wake of the#MeToo movement, the woman accused the actor of inappropriate behavior and harassment.

The allegations surfaced in a report from CNN, with eight individuals telling the network that they were victims of harassment and inappropriate behavior by Freeman.

Sixteen people in total spoke to CNN about the actor’s alleged behavior as part of the investigation. Shortly after the story was published, Freeman released astatement in which he said,

"Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected that was never my intent."

At least eight women have accused A-list actor Morgan Freeman of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior.

One woman who wished to remain anonymous told CNN that Morgan allegedly got too comfortable with her while she was working as a production assistant for the movie “Going In Style.”

She said Morgan often touched her inappropriately and made comments about her clothing and body on a daily basis.

She said he was never able to lift her skirt up because she would move away, but claims he would try again.

Another woman told the outlet that Morgan sexually harassed her multiple times when she was working on the 2012 movie “Now You See Me.

, “Alan [Arkin] made a comment telling him to stop. Morgan got freaked out and didn’t know what to say.”

“He did comment on our bodies,” the second accuser said. “We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted,” she said.
