Jose Mourinho has secured his first job since being sacked as Manchester United coach after joining BeIN Sports as a pundit, the broadcaster announced on Thursday.

‘The Special One’ will be an analyst for Chelsea’s Premier League trip to Arsenal on January 19 as well as Qatar and Saudi Arabia’s Asian Cup group-stage tie on January 17 on the Qatari channel’s broadcasts in the Middle East and North Africa.
He was sacked by United in December after the club’s worst start to a season since 1990 and won three trophies during his two-and-a-half year tenure at Old Trafford.

“Jose is one of the greatest football managers of all time, and we hope that his expert analysis and charismatic personality will be enjoyed by our millions of viewers,” a beIN spokesman said in a statement.
Mourinho had been linked with a return to former club Benfica after the Lisbon giants fired coach Rui Vitoria last week, but the 55-year-old told Correio da Manha earlier on Thursday that he would not take the job.

“I don’t have any intention of coming back to work in Portugal,” he told the newspaper. “I’m fine at the moment.”

“ The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future .
“ A new caretaker manager will be appointed until the end of the current season , while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new , full- time manager . ”

Twitter reacts as Jose Mourinho slammed crate of a water bottle to the ground at Old Trafford following Marouane Fellaini's last-minute winner for Manchester United over Young Boys on Tuesday night.

Brazilian Fred , who was signed earlier this summer for £ 52 million , was making his first United start and looked comfortable in his new surroundings .
And on 18 minutes , United were ahead . Herrera fed Matteo Darmian and teed up Sanchez who clinically swept the ball home.

Bale , a one time target for Mourinho, was withdrawn for the second half as Lopetegui shuffled his pack and one of the substitutes, Martin Odegaard should have levelled on 56 minutes when he blazed over the bar from eight yards.

The Norwegian saw a free - kick saved by De Gea late on but United held firm to lift Mourinho’ s mood .

Kroos has spent four years in Madrid and has helped the Bernabeu outfit to win three Champions League titles, three World Club Cups, two European Super Cup, one Spanish Super Cup and a La Liga since his arrival in 2014.

The former Bayern Munich star has been vital in Real Madrid recent success under ex-coach Zinedine Zidane, he is also a key figure in the German national team.

Left to Mourinho, Kroos’ time in Madrid will be coming to an end this summer with Manchester United keen on bringing him to replace Michael Carrick at the Old Trafford.
