Robert Pattinson Ordered To Stop Drinking For The Batman Movie, Says Report

A new report by OK! Magazine says that Robert Pattinson has been ordered to stop drinking while he trains for his upcoming movie The Batman. Many feel this could be a career-defining role for Robert and Warner Brothers wants to ensure that Robert is fit for the part — and by fit they mean physically fit. Robert hasn’t even begun filming yet but he is believed to be working with a nutritionist, a fitness trainer, and has been given orders to quit drinking so that he can bulk up. Bruce Wayne/Batman is a superhero and the world wants to see Robert Pattinson look the part of a superhero with well-defined muscles and as the epitome of perfect health.

It had previously been reported that Robert Pattinson was a bit of a drinker and enjoyed smoking too. After filming the Twilight Saga, Robert expanded his work and began starring in many different films — including multiple independent roles. During this time, he also continued to work on his music while gossip and rumors would circulate suggesting he sometimes drank to excess.

In 2016, Pattinson told reporters that he spent much of his time doing Twilight press tours drunk. Interestingly, in the interview, Pattinson sarcastically said that he could only do superhero and indie movies, and couldn’t do Con Air. While the intent of the sarcastic remarks isn’t exactly clear, the irony is — since Twilight, Pattinson has done plenty of indies and is now set to star in one of the biggest superhero movies there is!
