RHOBH – Erika Jayne Teases Fans With Roxie Hart Parody Video Ahead Of Her Broadway Debut In Chicago

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne is getting ready for her Broadway debut next month, playing the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago. And, to tease her three-month run, the 48-year-old posted a parody music video to show off what fans can expect.

In the clip, Jayne parodied the musical number Roxie from Chicago. But, in her version, “the name on everybody’s lips is gonna be Erika.” The video starts out with Jayne sitting at her makeup mirror in her dressing room wearing a black robe with “Erika” bedazzled on the back. As the song progresses, Jayne moves to the stage to sing and dance.

“I’m already a celebrity that means somebody everyone knows,” sings Jayne. “They’re gonna recognize my eyes, my hair, my teeth, my boobs, my nose.”

The backup singers and dancers tell the camera that Jayne is trading in her LA life so she can sing Roxie, Then, Jayne sings “it’s expensive to be me” before hitting the song’s climax.

“The Broadway babes are getting chills. Because a b*tch from Beverly Hills is gonna be Roxie Hart,” are the lyrics Jayne sings to wrap up the musical number.

The comments are already pouring in on Jayne’s Instagram page, including one from her RHOBH co-star Lisa Rinna – who played the role on Broadway back in 2007.  She wrote, “OMG!!! This is everything!”

Jayne recently told Page Six that she is thrilled to be a part of the legendary Broadway musical. She added that getting the chance to play Roxie Hart is a “decadent dream come true.” However, she admits that she will be extremely nervous on opening night.

Jayne said things are going great right now in rehearsals, but on opening night she will “probably vomit in a bucket off stage.” She also explained the difference between performing in a Broadway show and being a full-time cast member on RHOBH.

Jayne said that you can’t rehearse Housewives because it’s natural and in the moment. But, when it comes to Broadway, all the hard work comes during rehearsal.

Bravo cameras have been following Jayne in recent weeks as she temporarily relocates to New York City for her Broadway debut. And, fans will get to see all of the behind-the-scenes action when the new season of RHOBH premieres in 2020.

Erika Jayne will be starring as Roxie Hart in Chicago from January 6th through March 29th at the Ambassador Theatre on West 49th street between Broadway and 8th Avenue in New York City.
