Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas Speech Snubs Prince Harry And Meghan Markle This Year!

Queen Elizabeth excluded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as their baby boy, Archie Harrison from her Christmas picture this year! The monarch also opened up about a ‘bumpy’ 2019 in her speech preview for the BBC telecast.

Making subtle references to what has been going on in and around the royal family, she said that she thinks ‘small steps taken in faith and hope can overcome long held differences and deep seated divisions to bring harmony and understanding. The path, of course, isn’t always smooth and this year may have felt quite bumpy at times, but small steps can really make a world of difference.’

It seems like she was referring to the number of different scandals and drama that have been centered around the blue blooded clan.

The list includes Prince Andrew’s ties to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s feuding with the increasingly aggressive media.

But while her references to the drama in the speech were pretty subtle, the decision to not include pictures of Meghan, Harry and their baby on her desk all the while other members of the family were front and center, was not.

In a shot from during the speech, it became apparent that, on her desk, Queen Elizabeth had picture frames of Prince William, Kate Middleton and their kids but also of Prince Charles, his wife Camilla, Prince Phillip and King George VI!

As mentioned before, the photos of Meghan and Harry were nowhere to be found, however.

Fans have been talking about this on social media, some arguing that the reason why they were not featured was that they are not in the line of succession, since everyone else on that desk was.

However, others pointed out that during last year’s telecast, things were different!

Not only were Harry and Meghan also included, but Princess Beatrice and Jack Brooksbank were as well.
