Pete Davidson Talks Criticism Over His Romance With Kaia Gerber And Hints He’s Going To Rehab During SNL Skit

Pete Davidson addressed his Kaia Gerber romance during his brief appearance on Saturday Night Live. That was not the only topic he discussed during the ‘Weekend Update’ segment as the young comedian mentioned Colin Jost’s engagement to Scarlett Johansson as well.

Referring to the criticism he’s gotten on social media and in the press over his relationship with the beautiful 18 year old supermodel, he joked that ‘You get to date a famous woman and everyone’s delighted, but I do it and America wants to punch me in the throat.’

Pete made it clear that he was confused as to why people were so upset about it.

He jokingly stated that when it comes to men who look like him, Kaia might have actually picked the best one out of all of them!

‘There’s a million guys who look like me and I’m the only one who has a job. It’s just me and Tyga.’

Pete, who did seem quite nervous mentioned that he couldn’t believe he followed none than Eddie Murphy having a sit down with Jost and Michael Che in order to reprise the role of Gamby, an iconic character from back when the famous actor was just starting out in the industry as part of the SNL cast.

The 26 year old then caused fans to worry for him since he seemed to suggest that he was checking in to a mental health facility during the show’s winter break.

‘I’m going on ‘vacation’ but insurance pays for some of it, and they take your phone and shoelaces, and it costs $100,000 but I still have roommates,’ he told the audience.

Hopefully, he’s doing Okay since Pete has always been open about his mental health struggles.
