Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Denied Entry At Fancy Canadian Restaurant

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in the headlines this year for all the wrong reasons. This Christmas season, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t go to a royal family engagement at Sandringham, opting for instead, a visit to Canada, the country to the north.

Reportedly, Meghan and Harry’s security team tried to get a table for them at a fancy Canadian restaurant, but due to security concerns, they were denied. According to Page Six, the Suits alum and the Duke of Sussex spent their first holiday season with baby Archie on Vancouver Island, along with Doria Ragland, the mother of Markle.

Reports indicate that the pair went for a hike in the Horth Hill Regional Park and also jogged around North Saanich. The proprietor of Deep Cove Chalet, the restaurant in question, admits she spoke with the royal couple’s team earlier this month, however, Pierre Koffel, the chef, said they couldn’t meet with their security demands.

Reportedly, she told the Vancouver Sun that Meghan and the Prince needed the privacy, and certainly deserved it. Moreover, she stated she was delighted to hear they were actually in the area. During a chat with the Vancouver Sun, she added, “Horth Hill’s become a very popular place now.”

As it was noted above, Meghan and Harry have been in the headlines a lot this year, and in many cases, for quite negative reasons. For instance, it was reported by multiple outlets that Harry and Meghan had implemented very strict rules for their neighbors.

Some of these rules included barring neighbors and other people in the community from talking to either of them, including asking about their baby, offering to baby-sit, among other pleasantries.

However, in a statement, after the reports came out, their reps explained that neither Meghan nor Harry created such rules. Later, Meghan was the subject of media tabloid conjecture and social media criticism, to which Harry responded with a long statement in which he referenced the death of his late mother, Princess Diana, who died in a car crash in 1997.

Even high-profile individuals such as Hillary Clinton defended Meghan Markle after the fact.
