Counting On Stars Josiah Duggar And Lauren Swanson Dish On Life With Baby Bella – ‘She Brings Us So Much Joy’

Over the weekend, Counting On stars Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson celebrated one month with their newborn daughter Bella Milagro, and they gave fans an update on how their rainbow baby is doing with a sweet Instagram post.

The young couple posted two pictures – one of Swanson holding Bella, and another of the baby all by herself laying on a blanket and smiling – and in the caption, Duggar and Swanson wrote that they can’t believe the first month has gone by so fast.

“One month with Bella,” Duggar, 23, and Swanson, 20, wrote in the caption of their joint Instagram account. “It’s hard to believe Bella is already a month old! She is the sweetest, happiest and most content little baby. She brings us so much joy! .#bellamilagro #1monthold #thatsmile.”

In other pics that the couple has posted since she was born on November 8th, baby Bella’s smile has been a regular feature, and fans can’t get enough of it. One fan asked if Bella always smiled like that, and Swanson replied with, “Yes! She smiles all the time! ”

The couple is obviously overjoyed by the arrival of their daughter, but the pregnancy wasn’t easy. Duggar and Swanson lost their first pregnancy to miscarriage in October 2018, and Bella is their rainbow baby after “trying for quite a while” to get pregnant again.

Duggar and Swanson said that when they found out they were expecting again, they were shocked, scared, and a little nervous at times. But, above all they were grateful. Still, their tragic experience of losing a child made the couple fearful during their second pregnancy because they were constantly worried about losing another baby.

The couple opened up about their fears during a recent episode of Counting On. Swanson revealed that their ultrasound with Bella was special because they weren’t able to see their first baby, who they named Asa. She said she was five to six weeks along when she miscarried, right before her ultrasound. And, everything happened so fast.

“It’s very emotional, especially this pregnancy, ’cause every time I go to the doctor, I just get that scared feeling that something’s not right,” confessed Swanson.

Now that Bella has arrived, Duggar and Swanson are adjusting to life as parents. And, they have shared some sweet pics, including one of Josiah Duggar going for a “stroll downtown” with “his girls.”
