Two Bachelor In Paradise Fan-Favorite Couples Have Announced Their Split In A Week
Maybe it isn’t such a good idea to start a love affair with someone on a reality show. Two fan-favorite couples have announced their split within the last week.
The first was John Paul Jones and Tayshia Adams. The 24-year-old recently just moved to California to start his acting career and be closer to his girlfriend that he recently seemed excited to do so.
Just over a week later, US Weekly reported that they have decided to call it quits — for good this time.
‘Tayshia and I met last Friday, but we have so much going on in our personal lives it is very difficult to focus on a serious relationship,’ he revealed on Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast.
Tayshia then took to Instagram to say: ‘John and I had something incredibly special. We fell for each other in Paradise, and everything was a whirlwind after that. When the show ended, I truly went back to Maryland to see if what we had was something we could build on without cameras, a production crew, and without feeling any pressure: to simply figure things out on our own terms. But the reality was, we were living on opposite coasts, and working insane schedules that made it impossible to see each other and build a life with each other.’
She said that they would continue to be ‘the best of friends.’
The second set of lovers to throw in the hat made history as the first lesbian couple in Bachelor Nation — Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty.
This was a lot more serious considering that the two were engaged.
The 24-year-old announced in an Instagram post: ‘What has always been at the forefront of our relationship is love and care for one another. Our priority is doing what is best for us. With a heavy heart full of love for one another we have decided it is best for us to take a step back from our relationship. We ultimately want what is best for us in the long run and for us right now, that means being apart and growing individually.’
Which couple are you most upset about splitting?
