Selena Gomez Is Ready To Find Love Again After ‘Toxic’ Previous Relationships

Selena Gomez says she is ready to find love again following her previous “toxic” relationships.

The 27-year-old singer stopped by Zach Sang Show the other day, where she admitted she was open to finding real love. Gomez was in an on-again and off-again romance with Justin Bieber for years. However, she is putting the past behind her and looking forward to the future.

“I’ve been super, super single for two years and I want to know what that love will look like next for me. I want it to be real and I don’t want it to be codependent or messy or lack of communication. When you get older you find people who are actually right for you, that are actually on the same wavelength,” the ‘Back To You’ singer shared.

The Biebs isn’t her only famous past relationship. Gomez was also involved in a 10-month romance with The Weekend back in 2017.

During the interview, she also revealed the valuable lessons young love taught her.

“You’re in a phase of life where you experience love for the first time, and I think that can just be a little toxic. When you’re young you have this codependency that you think is love, and then you have this addiction to the passion and the frustration with each other and you think, ‘Oh that’s love.’ I believed that for a long time,” she expressed.

Gomez is not calling any of her ex-boyfriends toxic. She is merely sharing her view on young love. The Wizards of Waverly Place also dished about being single.

“I’m chillin right now, you guys. Honestly dating is so stressful, so I’ve been having way too much fun being on my own. It sucked for the first year, I was like, ‘I just wanna cuddle, I just wanna watch something and be adored.’ Now it feels good. Now it feels awesome,” she admitted.

Selena Gomez is ready to find love again. The singer is not in a hurry to be in any old relationship. She wants it to be real and will not settle for anything less in her next romance.

Until cupid strikes, Gomez is content on being single and focusing on her music. She is still riding high from the release of her two new songs, ‘Look at Her Now’ and ‘Lose You to Love Me.’
