Sarah Jessica Parker Keeps Wearing Socks With Her Heels And People Are Freaking Out

Sarah Jessica Parker is creating a stir due to her new choice of fashion. The Sex And The City actress who brought the fashion-savvy character Carrie Bradshaw to life is taking some heat for wearing socks with heels. Multiple photos of Sarah wearing high-heels and brightly-colored socks have appeared on her official Instagram page where she has 5.8 million followers and she wore vivid purple socks at a fan event held in Melbourne, Australia.

The socks and shoe ensemble created quite a stir at the Chemist Warehouse event where Sarah spoke to a crowded throng of fans. Sarah wore her long blonde hair loose, and it fell past her shoulders. Her makeup was flawless and Sarah’s blue eyes sparkled underneath a generous sweep of black mascara.

She chose an Ulla Johnson, multi-print floral dress in hues of gold, blue, and rust. The outfit looked stylish and chic until you reached her feet.

Pairing her heels that are from her own SJP line with a pair of grape-colored sparkly socks with white writing at the top, some said they were getting “wicked witch of the west” vibes from the ensemble.

The purple socks and black shoes weren’t a one-time deal. Sarah has been pairing her SJP shoes with socks for quite some time. Some have suggested that Sara is doing this to promote her shoe line, trying to get media attention and have people talk about her shoes.

In another set of photos that Sarah shared on her Instagram account, she wore a black and white gingham coat with what appeared to have red, felt detail, a floral print dress, and pink knee socks with red detailing paired with the same block heel she wore only instead of black, she opted for gold.

She shared the following caption with the photos.
