RHOP Welcomes New Cast Member Amid Major Drama — Meet Dr. Wendy Osefo
Real Housewives of Potomac just began filming its new season weeks ago — and there has already been a physical altercation. The new cast photos were taken a few days ago and a leak revealed that the franchise will be adding a 7th full-time Housewife.
Dr. Wendy Osefo is a Nigerian born political commentator. The 35-year-old is married to Edward Osefo and they share three children.
Her website’s biography reads, in part: ‘An award-winning researcher, Dr. Wendy Osefo is a Nigerian-American television personality and a highly sought-after progressive political commentator and strategist. Wendy is a Professor of Education at The Johns Hopkins University, Contributor at The Hill, and the Founder and CEO of The 1954 Equity Project, LLC.’
Although you can find Candiace Dillard in her comment section cheering her on, Wendy is very much taking a neutral stance when it comes to the Candiace and Monique Samuels fight that happened when they were filming in a vineyard.
A blog that has been reporting spoilers for the new season said that Osefo, along with Karen Huger and Ashley Darby are fine to tape with Monique while others are Team Candiace.
The Instagram page reported: ‘Word On The Street is that The Green Eyed Bandit, Gizelle Bryant, showed up with her own security detail to filming today with the ladies. The entire cast, except for Candiace, met today and “the dragging” was the 
topic. A few of the ladies continued to express their “concerns” for their safety after Monique’s alleged “blackout” that resulted in the dragging of castmate Candiace Bassett. While Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, and newbie Dr. Wendy Osefo are said to be #teammonique, the other ladies, not so much (yikes 
).’
