Sarah Paulson Teases She ‘May Pop Up’ On The New ‘American Horror Story’ Season After All!

A new season of American Horror Story, simply dubbed as ‘AHS: 1984,’ is right around the corner and fans are excited but also disappointed that some of the show’s biggest names are not going to be part of this ninth installment of the anthology, including Sarah Paulson!

That being said, the actress actually teased that she ‘may pop up‘ after all!

While in attendance at the Abominable premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, Paulson chatted with ET, giving the news outlet some exclusive details about the upcoming season.

‘I may pop up,’ she simply mentioned after explaining how ‘bittersweet’ it’s felt not being properly involved in this season’s filming.

‘It’s a little bittersweet since I have a lot of friends who are still on the show. So I am getting updates about how it is all going and what they are doing, and I am like, ‘Wait, what? You worked until 2? Oh, I remember working until 2 on that show.’ And then I am also very glad I can wake up at a decent hour because I am not cross-eyed from having worked insane nights.’

As diehard fans of the anthology series know, Paulson has been part of the AHS cast for all 8 seasons so this is the first time she’ll skip a storyline.

‘But, it will be hard. I will be watching and cheering everyone on. I am really excited for this season. I think it is a really cool idea for the show this year. And you never know, I may just pop up. You never know. No promises though,’ she went on to add, slyly.
