KUWK: Khloe Kardashian Says It Was Hard To See Tristan Thompson At Their Daughter’s First Birthday Party

Apparently, it was difficult for Khloe Kardashian to see her ex at their daughter True’s birthday party, even though she’s over their drama now. At the time, however, their split was still ‘raw and fresh.’

It’s no secret that the KUWK star really wants Tristan Thompson to be in his child’s life as she grows up, no matter what happened between them.

But that’s not to say it was not difficult for her to have him around when celebrating True’s first birthday back in April.

After all, it took place only a couple of months after his scandal with Jordyn Woods.

No matter the betrayal she suffered, the basketball player is still her baby daddy so she wanted nothing more than for him to be present on the special day.

Khloe stopped by Ryan Seacrest’s radio show yesterday and she dished that ‘True’s birthday was only a couple weeks after all that stuff happened, so everything was still very raw and fresh. That was hard how we came to the point where I even invited Tristan to her first birthday. I always wanted to be obviously a mommy and daddy thing. I knew that in my family it was going to be a lot of tension, but still wanted to do what was the best for True.’

The mother of one proved how mature she has been dealing with the situation when she told the host that: ‘We’re all human beings, and we’re all figuring out life. Stuff happens and people make mistakes. We’re all going to survive. We all learn from it. Things need to happen to me for me to become a better person, as well. If we cannot laugh at it, what the hell am I going to do?’
