Jennifer Lopez Is Thrilled To See That Super Bowl Organizers Are Celebrating Women
According to a report from Page Six, Jennifer Lopez is “super excited” to share the stage with her fellow Latina artist, Shakira, during the Super Bowl 2020 halftime show this year. Shared by J-Lo on the 26th of September, 2019, the legendary pop-star said she was “so excited” to share the stage with another Hispanic woman.
During the launch of her new perfume product, “Promise,” on Thursday night, the pop-star confirmed the news and appeared elated. Lopez, who’s married to Alexander Rodriguez, claims that she believes the Super Bowl organizers are really devoted to “diversity and inclusivity,” moreover, they’re embracing the female gender.
As it was previously reported, yesterday, Shakira and J-Lo were announced as the entertainment for this year’s performance. The 50-year-old singer-songwriter stated that the Super Bowl show was a huge platform to be on, and it’s one of the biggest concerts of the year.

This is a great time for Mrs. Lopez, who just got off the big hit movie, The Hustlers, in which she stars alongside an ensemble cast including herself, Cardi B, Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, and others. Moreover, she just celebrated her 50th birthday as well.
The singer added that she and Shakira were “over the moon” about the upcoming performance. Last year, the Super Bowl was the subject of much controversy, especially in the hip-hop and black community, for the fact that Travis Scott, Big Boi, and Adam Levine were performing.
Criticisms of the performance had to do with the Colin Kaepernick controversy. Some of the biggest names in the rap game were not pleased with the announcement, including Jay-Z as well as Meek Mill.
Furthermore, it was reported that Rihanna, as well as Cardi B, turned down the job as well. The Super Bowl was criticized after the fact additionally, due to not only the poor audio quality but also because Adam Levine, the Maroon 5 singer, took his shirt off in the middle of the performance.
Many people on social media took Adam to task for supposedly “making it all about him.”
