Gwen Stefani gushed over how great of a father Blake Shelton has been to her three sons! But how does their biological father, Gavin Rossdale feel about the country crooner playing such a significant role in his boys’ lives?

Apparently, he is adapting to their growing relationship.

One insider report claimed that Gavin has nothing against the bond that Shelton and the kids have.

After all, he loves his offspring very much and wants only what is best for them in life and Blake has been, indeed, doing a great job.

The source told HollywoodLife that ‘Gavin is a great father and he’s got to a place with Gwen where they’re friendly and can coexist as parents and he’s gotten to a place where he’s totally OK with Blake being in his kids’ life. Gavin respects Blake and he knows that he’s a good guy. Gavin will always be in his kids’ life but he accepts what Blake brings to them. Gavin has been really mature with this whole situation that can be hard for a family.’

But as it turns out, Gavin was not so accepting of Blake and the kids’ relationship at first, which is why the way he feels now is such a great change.

Another insider dished to the news outlet earlier this year that ‘It is challenging for Gavin to see his boys grow closer and more attached to Gwen’s boyfriend. As Gwen’s relationship with Blake continues to get stronger, Gavin struggles with the quality time Blake spends with his sons, time Gavin sometimes feels like it should be his to bond with his own sons.’

At the end of the day, Blake and Gwen are not trying to take the boys away from him, or anything like that, and he’s realized that lately.

Gavin spends time with them as well and it is also agreed that he will always have them over Father’s Day since he’s their real dad.
