The Hills: New Beginnings: Brody Jenner And Kaitlynn Carter Split – Marriage Was Never Legal

Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter have split less than one year after their Indonesia wedding.

The Hills: New Beginnings stars won’t have too many issues dissolving the marriage. It turns out Carter and Jenner did not ever legally wed in the United States. Therefore, they will not need to file for divorce since their lavish wedding was only ceremonial.

“Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter have decided to amicably separate. They love and respect one another and know that this is the best decision for their relationship moving forward,” Scott Newman, a rep for the soon to be ex-couple shared with US Weekly.

Carter has already moved out of their Malibu home. Both of them have taken off their wedding rings and there are even reports she has a new man in her life

One of the magazine’s sources spilled there were two things Carter wanted from Jenner. She wanted a baby and a legal marriage. Jenner reportedly was not willing to give her either one, so they broke up.

Neither Carter nor Jenner have spoken out regarding their break up. She still has the last name Jenner on her Instagram page. Both of them still have pictures of each other, as well as their wedding day on their Instagram feeds.

Ironically it has been only weeks since Jenner and Carter each paid tribute to their wedding day on social media.

Fans of the MTV revival know the couple of almost six years was having some marital issues during filming. She brought up a few times the subject of having a baby, claiming he promised when she turned 30-years-old they could start a family.

Jenner’s DJ career and late-night’s out at the club also caused problems. They fought about his lifestyle choices in the premiere episode. In a promo for a not yet aired episode viewers watch as Carter blasts her husband for telling someone, they had an open relationship. He shuts down, walking away from the fight.

Reality TV star Brody Jenner is single again. He and wife Kaitlynn Carter have gone their separate ways.

The second season of The Hills: New Beginnings has not started filming yet. It will be interesting to see if the demise of their relationship is a storyline in the upcoming season.

Carter is also good friends with cast member Whitney Port. Their friendship begs the question, will she remain on the reality TV show despite not being with Jenner anymore?
