Dakota Johnson Fans Aren’t Happy The Actress Recently Closed The Gaps Between Her Teeth
According to a report from Today, Dakota Johnson fans are reportedly unhappy with the fact she recently chose to close the gap between her teeth. For years, Dakota has been sporting a small gap between some of her front teeth, and many of her fans reportedly like that unique idiosyncrasy about her – it adds character.
In one video, for instance, shared by Vanity Fair, reporters, including Johnson herself, joked about all of the things she could “fit between her teeth.” While people thought it was light-hearted, it appears as though Dakota was somewhat bothered by it, considering she went out and got her teeth fixed.
Fans first noticed the brand new change when she was smiling at the crowd while at the Los Angeles premiere of her newest movie, The Peanut Butter Falcon. The star appeared to have no gap between her teeth anymore.
You can check out a Twitter post from a user in which there’s a before-and-after picture:
I hated my tooth gap. I’m so glad it’s gone. It sucked to see a maturing face in the mirror with the teeth of a 10 year old.

While the difference is quite subtle and small, many of the star’s fans were upset by the change. However, many of them appeared to be just joking because the reactions were far beyond what’s necessary or even considered normal.
As followers of the actress know, she arguably came to prominence when she was cast as Anastasia in the movie-adaptions of the Fifty Shades Of Grey book series. However, she had roles in other films such as The Social Network, which came out in 2010, as well as 21 Jump Street and The Five-Year Engagement.
She went on to appear in other productions like Black Mass, A Bigger Splash, Suspiria, as well as Bad Times At The El Royale. Dakota also had roles in two films that are in post-production now, The Friend, and Cover, the former coming out sometime this year while Cover’s date is currently unannounced.
Followers of celebrity culture know that cosmetic surgery is very common in Hollywood. Fans of Renée Zellwegger, for instance, were shocked when the star appeared on the red carpet with a completely different image. Reported by The Hollywood Reporter in 2016, Renée Zellwegger wrote an essay in which she addressed the plastic surgery murmurs.
