Kim Kardashian Speaks Out Against Her Former Family Photographer Marcus Hyde For Soliciting Nude Photos From Models

Marcus Hyde is a popular celebrity photographer that rose to fame after shooting many of Kim Kardashian’s campaigns. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star just took to social media to speak out against the man she once worked with after he faced some shocking allegations.

A social media influencer exposed Hyde for trying to solicit nude photos for his photography services. After the aspiring model said that she wasn’t comfortable sending him naked pictures, Hyde said that he would charge her $2,000.

Shay Mitchell was one of the firsts to respond to the shocking claim and encouraged women to look out for each other and themselves.

Bella Thorne also commented on the Diet Prada Instagram account that, unfortunately, women have to deal with that disgusting behavior all the time.

The story really began to gain traction last night when Ariana Grande, who has also worked with Marcus, spoke up via Instagram Stories.

Her message read: ‘dear models/artists in LA / anywhere, i have just read some shocking and really heartbreaking stories. i hate that this is a conversation. please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take your clothing off if you don’t want to. if you want to, sick. but if you don’t, please don’t. if they tell you you have to pay more money if you’re clothed that’s f–ked and i’m sorry that has happened to you. i promise there are so many respectful, nice, talented photographers out there.’

She went on to say that it was her first time hearing about it and that she was sorry.

On Tuesday afternoon, Kim Kardashian broke her silence.

She posted a message to her Instagram Story that read: ‘I have been reading all of the messages and stories from women regarding inappropriate and inexcusable behavior of a photographer that I have worked with in the past. My own experiences have always been professional, and I am deeply shocked, saddened and disappointed to learn that other women have had very different experiences. I stand in full support of every woman’s right to not be harassed, asked or pressured to do anything they are not comfortable with,” she continued. “We cannot allow this type of behavior to go unnoticed and I applaud those who speak out.’

Marcus was seemingly a family friend. After he was in a nearly fatal car accident, the Wests donated $50,000 to help with medical bills.
