Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner’s Dog Dies In Freak Accident — Emotional Couple Went To Therapy To Deal With Tragic Loss
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are being forced to come down from the high of their multiple weddings to deal with a sad situation. The married couple’s beloved dog, Waldo, was struck and killed by a car in a freak accident.
TMZ was the first to report the incident. The dog sitter that was hired by Joe and Sophie told them that something spooked the precious pup which caused him to run into the street where he was run over by a vehicle.
The incident that occurred on Wednesday affected the two so much that they went to therapy to deal with their emotions. This was one of the dogs that were given to the Game of Thrones alum by Joe after her dog from the show passed away.
On Friday, TMZ captured photos of a distressed-looking Turner who was being comforted by Joe on the set of his new music video.
The 23-year-old has struggled with issues from depression to self-image as a result of her time in the public eye.
She opened up about just how bad it was on Dr. Phil’s podcast earlier this summer.
‘I had no motivation to do anything or go out. Even with my best friends, I wouldn’t want to see them… I would cry and cry and cry. Just having to change and put on clothes, I said, ‘I can’t do this. I can’t go outside. I have nothing that I want to do.”
In addition to therapy and medication, she credits the Jonas brother for helping her cope.
‘I love myself now, or more than I used to. I’m now with someone that makes me realize, you know, that I do have some redeeming qualities, I suppose, and when someone tells you they love you every day, it makes you realize why that is, and I think it makes you love yourself a bit more.’
Hopefully, the duo continues to lean on each other during this tragic time.
