Disney Channel Spokesperson Releases Official Statement About Cameron Boyce’s Shocking Death

Despite being only 20 years old, Disney star Cameron Boyce managed to leave behind a true legacy before his untimely death. As fans know, the Descendants actor passed away in his sleep yesterday after experiencing a seizure stemming from an undisclosed illness.

Soon after the unfortunate announcement was made, many fans but also fellow stars in the industry shared their tributes and condolences including Zendaya, Adam Sandler, Yara Shahidi and many more!

Furthermore, a Disney Channel spokesperson also spoke on the tragedy, sharing a lengthy statement via ET.

‘From a young age, Cameron dreamed of sharing his extraordinary talents with the whole world. As a young man, he was fueled by the strong desire to make a difference in peoples’ lives through humanitarian work. He was an incredibly talented performer, remarkably caring and thoughtful person and, above everything else, he was a loving, dedicated son, brother, and friend.’

The open letter goes on to say: ‘We offer our deepest condolences to his family, castmates and join his millions of fans in grieving his untimely passing. He’ll be dearly missed.’

Boyce was part of a number of different Disney Channel productions from a very young age, acting in shows such as Shake It Up, Good Luck Charlie and Jessie!

Furthermore, he also played the role of Carlos, Cruella de Vil’s son in the Descendants movies.

As it turns out, since the third one in the series is set to premiere next month, fans will get to see the late actor reprising the role of Carlos de Vil next month.

However, at this point, it’s still not clear if the premiere date will be postponed or not.

Rest in peace, Cameron Boyce, you will never be forgotten.
