Wendy Williams Put Her ‘Feelings Aside’ When Reuniting With Ex Kevin Hunter During Son’s Court Appearance!

Wendy Williams was in attendance at her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.’s court hearing in order to fully support him even if that meant seeing her ex, Kevin Hunter amid their divorce. The talk show host simply put her own personal feelings aside and was there alongside him.

That being said, earlier today, Wendy and Kevin reunited in court, forgetting about their differences for a few hours for the sake of their 19 year old son.

The boy pleaded ‘not guilty’ to assault charges from back in May when he reportedly attacked his dad during a particularly explosive fight.

In the meantime, Kevin Hunter seems to have forgiven him and wants what’s best for the teen, just like his mom.

One source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Wendy was determined to put all her personal feelings aside about Kevin Sr. while they showed their support for Kevin Jr. during his court appearance. Wendy’s son means more to her than anything else in this world and she knows how important it is to show up for moments like this. Despite everything that has happened between Wendy and Kevin Sr., family will always come first no matter what.’

‘It would be a lie to say that there weren’t moments of anger and even awkwardness for the exes, but they’re both mature and handled themselves like adults for the sake of their son. Wendy needed to be there for her son and she had to focus and deal with those emotions over anything else because she has to focus on the important things,’ they added.

The source also mentioned that she can always complain about her former husband at a later time.

But when it comes to their son, she trusts that they can get it together and be a united front.
