Wendy Williams And Kevin Hunter Both Want Son Kevin Jr. Out Of Trouble With The Law And Are Working On It Together Despite Divorce

Wendy Williams and her ex-husband Kevin Hunter are in the middle of a pretty messy divorce so it is safe to say they don’t really get along these days! However, if there is one thing they try their best to be a united front for, it’s their son, Kevin Jr.!

And since the parents want the best for their offspring, having his assault case dropped would be great news, even though the father was the one assaulted!

Without a doubt, their explosive fight turned physical is behind Kevin Sr. and now, all he wants is to support his 19 year old kid amid his problems with the law.

One source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Wendy would do anything for her son and so would Kevin. That is one thing they do agree on. They’re very united when it comes to him and they’re doing whatever they can to fix the mess he is in.’

Ray Hamlin, Kevin Jr.’s attorney previously told TMZ that the dad is not interested in pressing charges and that, he expects the case to be solved in his favor.

‘They both want the same thing – to see this case dropped and all charges expunged from his record. They are really hopeful that it will go that way,’ the insider went on to say.

Apparently, there is a conditional dismissal program the teen can qualify for due to the fact that he does not have a criminal record.

So as long as he stays out of trouble, the state-wide program would help completely clear his name.

As for Wendy and her ex, ‘Emotions are still very high but they are not letting that be the focus. Right now, all that matters is their son.’
