RHOA’ Todd Tucker Reportedly Bought Kandi Burruss’ $200k Birthday Present With Her Own Money

Kandi Burruss just turned 42 this month and her husband, Todd Tucker, surprised her with a lavish gift. Taking to YouTube, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared a video of the birthday festivities and revealed that Tucker bought her a $200,000 SUV – paid for with her own money.

“I went and got my wife a car because she won’t treat herself,” Tucker shared in the clip. “She wants one, but don’t know which one, [and] didn’t really want to spend the money.”

Although it was great to see Tucker give Burruss such an amazing gift, fans were left wondering where he got the money to pay for it. According to All About The Tea, Burruss is easily the breadwinner in the household and Tucker likely used her own funds to purchase the SUV, which was a Bentley Bentayga worth well over $200,000.

Tucker had to use some creativity to surprise the RHOA star with a new vehicle. He enlisted the help of Burruss’ daughter, Riley, who told her mom that their dog had a strange looking poo outside. Burruss ventured out of the house in her robe to investigate when she discovered the Bentley parked in the driveway.

Although Tucker may have used her own money to purchase the SUV, Burruss could not hide her excitement and gushed over the extravagant gift.

The birthday present comes a few years after Burruss’ mother slammed Tucker for marrying her over wealth. As fans will recall, Mama Joyce criticized Tucker in Season 6 of RHOA for not being able to provide for her daughter. She went as far to say that Tucker was not the right man for Burruss and was manipulating her into marrying him.

Mama Joyce did, however, say that as long as Burruss is happy then she will stay out of it. Based on Burruss’ reaction to the new car, it’s pretty clear that she loved her birthday very much.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have not commented on the reports surrounding her expensive birthday present. The couple tied the knot in 2014 and share one child together.
