Lala Kent Posts Supportive Message To Luann De Lesseps After Her Shocking Relapse

Lala Kent showed her fellow Bravolebrity some support via Instagram Stories. Luann De Lesseps was recently ordered into custody for violating her probation.

Luann was arrested on December 24 two years ago when she pleaded guilty to felony charges of battery, trespassing and disorderly intoxication. Her original deal was to attend two AA meetings per week, not possess or consume alcohol or illegal drugs, complete 50 hours of community service, and attend a victim impact class organized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving — all in addition to a year of probation.

On Thursday, it was reported that the Real Housewives of New York star failed an alcohol test.

Lala, who is also an addict, sympathizes with Luann which is why she shared a statement that read: ‘My heart goes out to my fellow Bravo family member. Sobriety isn’t something that can be conquered. We are human and it is a day to day struggle. She will be back on her feet in no time.’

Kent came to realize that she was an alcoholic after her father passed away and she became depending upon it to cope. Some of her liquor-fueled anxiety attacks played out on the latest season of Vanderpump Rules.

The 29-year-old recently celebrated six months of sobriety.

‘It’s been a couple of days full of mile stones. Yesterday we got to celebrate Easter and the life of my sweet dad. Today, I celebrate 6 months of sobriety. I know I talk about this often, but y’all… I still can’t believe it. I feel the need to share my story because I know I’m not the only one out there suffering from this. It’s not an easy path I’ve chosen, but I chose it because it was between one thing, and my life. I take it one day at a time. I celebrate each day that I go through in a clear state of mind, & the next day I wake up with the same goal: stay clear.’

It’s great to see that Lala chose to lift Luann up with her words while the Bravo star is clearly going through one of the toughest times in her life.
