Halsey has released three singles now, and it’s expected they will be on the third album. Fans hope to have the album before the end of 2019. The three singles are: “Without Me,” “Eastside,” and “Nightmare.”

Halsey’s performance of “Nightmare” went viral and fans are flocking to YouTube to see the video. The song exemplifies female power and Halsey brought that vibe into her outfit. Dressed in a cropped, plaid top with shorts that were fitted with leg straps and buckles, Halsey exuded female strength and power.

The lyrics to the song are powerful and it’s no surprise it’s a hit.

“I’ve tasted blood and it is sweet
I’ve had the rug pulled beneath my feet
I’ve trusted lies and trusted men
Broke down and put myself back together again
Stared in the mirror and punched it to shatters
Collected the pieces and picked out a dagger
I’ve pinched my skin in between my two fingers
And wished I could cut some parts off with some scissors.”
