Halsey Pays Fan’s Speeding Ticket After Blaming It On Her Music

How sweet! Hearing the reason why a fan got a speeding ticket, Halsey decided to pay it for them!

It all started with one Twitter user blaming their speeding and getting in trouble with the police on Halsey’s new song, Nightmare!

‘Confession: Driving home from Penn State I got pulled over and given a ticket for the very first time and when asked why I was going 99 in a 70 [limit area] I was ~dangerously~ close to admitting that I was bangin out to @halsey’s new song Nightmare,’ the fan tweeted.

Luckily, for more reasons than one, the artist stumbled upon the post and decided not only to respond, but she actually offered to pay the ticker herself!

She just wanted to help the fan out and so, she retweeted the original post, writing alongside it: ‘What’s your Venmo. I’ll pay for your ticket. DRIVE SAFELY PLEASE!!!!’

Sure enough, the transaction took place and the fan posted the evidence in the form of a screenshot on their account.

As it turns out, the singer sent $250 to pay for their speeding ticket!

While they made sure to blur out the account of course, it is to be assumed that Halsey kept her word.

‘So this happened and I’ve never been more grateful or felt less deserving. @halsey you are unreal,’ the fan gushed in the caption.

So all is well when it ends well, right? With the help of their favorite celebrity, the fan was able to settle the ticket problem in no time.

Speaking of, the sweet gesture caused many more fans to jokingly blame their financial problems on Halsey’s great music.
