Duggar Family Feud: Did Derick Dillard Skip Jill Duggar’s Birthday Party?

Ever since TLC fired former Counting On star Derick Dillard in late 2017 for a series of transphobic tweets, there have been rumors of a feud brewing between Dillard, his wife Jill Duggar, and her famous family.  Fans have pointed to the fact that he rarely shows up at family events, and no one from the large Duggar clan showed up to help Derick and Jill move into their new home earlier this spring. Could Jill’s latest Instagram post reveal that there really is a huge rift in the Duggar family?

According to In Touch Weekly, fans can forget about the feud rumors because when Jill recently celebrated her 28th birthday, she enjoyed a girls’ day out with her mom, Michelle, her sisters, and her sisters-in-law.

Jill posted a few pictures from her birthday week, including one at the nail salon with her mom and another featuring nearly all of the Duggar females. In fact, Jill had so many Duggar women show up to celebrate her birthday, they took up four tables in a restaurant.

Along with Jill and Michelle, those in attendance at the birthday lunch included Jana Duggar, Jessa Seewald, Lauren Swanson, Abbie Grace Burnett, and Anna Duggar.

Derick Dillard didn’t appear in any of Jill’s pics, but she did thank her husband in the caption for watching their two sons – Israel and Samuel – while she enjoyed some time with the ladies.

On the official Duggar family Facebook page, Jill’s parents celebrated her birthday by posting a baby pic and wrote in the caption that 28 years ago they welcomed “a beautiful baby girl with the sweetest smile.” Jim Bob and Michelle added that they have loved Jill since the moment they laid eyes on her, and they pray that God will bless her as a new year begins.

For Mother’s Day, Jill Duggar wrote on Instagram that she was grateful for her mom because she is a selfless, joyful, patient mother who is the most loving person you will ever meet. Jill added that her mom always takes the time to invest in her kids’ lives and is constantly looking for ways she can bless others. She finished up the post by writing that Michelle is “the most amazing mom in the world.”

If there was any kind of problem, it looks like the Duggars have solved it.

New episodes of Counting On will return to TLC later this year.
