Amber Rose Suffering Pregnancy Complications – Hyperemesis Gravidarum
According to a report from Page Six, Amber Rose is enduring a particularly rough pregnancy at the moment. Rose, real name Amber Levonchuck, went on her Instagram recently to say she was suffering from an illness called, “hyperemesis gravidarium,” saying that she initially had wanted to showcase her pregnancy to the world, but things aren’t going as good as she’d like.
The star revealed she had hyperemesis with her last child, Sebastian, and she has the same complication now. The American Pregnancy Association claims the disease is characterized by a few different symptoms, including electrolyte disturbance, weight loss, vomiting, and nausea.
In many cases, especially more mild ones, it’s possible to remedy the symptoms with simple diet, lifestyle, and changes in rest, however, sometimes it can get more complicated and more severe. Women, in some instances, have to go to the hospital.
The 35-year-old said, in her case, she has extreme “dehydration, vomiting,” as well as nausea. Moreover, she has just been sleeping all day for the last few days. Other stars to face similar complications are Kate Middleton in and Amy Schumer.

In her post, Amber took the opportunity to praise women, saying they are resilient and go through so much to bear children. Rose said she just wants it to be over at this point. She wants to show off her stomach and her body, but can’t.
Previously, Rose put her supposed “friends” on blast for not supporting her during her difficult times. She said that when she’s throwing pool parties, people are blowing up her phone like crazy, but when she’s sick, no one even bothers to text.
Back in April, Amber revealed she was pregnant with a baby boy along with her new man, the Def Jam Records executive, Alexander Edwards. In October 2017, they started dating, and Page Six broke the news in January of this year.
This will be Rose’s second child, in total, following her son, Sebastian, whom she had with Wiz Khalifa. Wiz and Rose co-parent the child together, amicably.
