Ismail Afeez, was an National Union of Road Transport Workers,NURTW member shot dead during across fire between hoodlums at the All Progressives Congress (APC’s)governorship flag off Campaign on Tuesday, 8th January 2019.

According to reports, three journalists – The Nation GroupPolitical Editor Emmanuel Oladesu,New Telegraphcorrespondent, Temitope Ogunbanke andIbile Televisioncameraman, Abiodun Yusuf, were also hit by stray bullets during the crossfire.

Afeez popularly called Legacy, wasshot in the head allegedly by a security detail of NURTW Chairmanin Idumota.
