EUROPA LEAGUE: Maurizio Sarri confirms double injury blow for Chelsea tie with PAOK

Maurizio Sarri has confirmed a double injury blow for Chelsea ahead of PAOK Salonika clash in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night at Stamford Bridge.

The 59-year-old Italian coach has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s provided a team news and injury update as the Blues boss will do without Eden Hazard and Victor Moses.

Belgium international has been ruled out with an ankle injury that he picked up during the 3-1 defeat to Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday while out-of-favour winger and retired Nigerian star will play no part in the game against the Greek Super League side due to a back problem.

Sarri told reporters: "The last problem is Moses. I spoke with the doctor and he has a back problem this morning, so I think he will not be able to play tomorrow.
''Then Hazard of course it is not a serious injury. He will not be able to play tomorrow but I think he will be able to recover for the Premier League match (Fulham).

Moses has not started a competitive game for Chelsea since September 26 when he went the distance against Liverpool in the League Cup and England U17 World Cup-winning winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to be included in the matchday squad.

Chelsea head into the game tomorrow sitting six points clear of Vidi at the top of Group L so they just need to avoid defeat against third-placed POAK to secure top spot with a game to spare.
